AEW Rewind: Nick Gage will end Chris Jericho’s career for the right price, more!

Don’t have time to follow all of AEW’s online content? Don’t worry. We got you covered with the AEW Rewind, which will rewind through social media bits and YouTube videos from the past week to prepare you for Wednesday night Dynamite.

AEW Road to Fight for the Fallen hyped Chris Jericho versus Nick Gage in no DQ for MJF’s second Labour of Jericho, the NJPW IWGP US Championship match between Lance Archer and Hikuleo, and FTR against Santana & Ortiz.

Gage believes he is the greatest death match wrestler on Earth. He is battle-tested for his biggest match of his career. There is nothing Jericho can do to him that he hasn’t already experienced. Gage closed by declaring he will leave Jericho a bloody mess, then he kissed a pizza cutter.

Gage also clarified that he is not friends with MJF, however, he will do the dirty work of ending Jericho’s career for the right price.

Dr. Britt Baker DMD broke her wrist last week defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Nyla Rose. She appears to be taking the injury in stride with sassy selfies.

The Elite Hunter Frankie Kazarian explained his motivation to fight alone. Going solo will show how strong he truly is.

Lance Archer cut a promo for the crowd after winning the IWGP US title from Jon Moxley. Mox called Archer back to the ring to hand him the championship as a sign of respect.

AEW put out the uncut version of the press conference for FTR versus Santana & Ortiz. It offers Santana’s full promo on his family. He is going to eat FTR’s souls. Santana was taught that poor was a state of mind. Love from family makes him rich forever.

Being the Elite

“Your Bloody Hands” - Being The Elite, Ep. 266 (here) featured:

  • The Young Bucks, Luke Gallows, and Brandon Cutler were in gorilla position watching Elite Hunter Frankie Kazarian in the ring. They convinced Cutler to confront Kaz, except they sent him out alone as a rib. Cuter got his ass kicked, so Gallows decided to play the role of heater for the save.
  • Nick Jackson was traveling solo on a red-eye flight. Cutler was paranoid about being blackmailed by the Dark Order. Matt Jackson was busy brushing his hair. Nick went to find the EVP locker room, so he wouldn’t have to hang out with all the marks backstage. Leva Bates had a sign in support of the Dark Order. Nick ripped it in half.
  • Peter Avalon was ready to move on from Bates. He had his eye on a lady in red. It turned out to be Abadon. The Wingmen did Avalon a solid as wingmen to put in a good word. Abadon vomited blood.
  • Marko Stunt retained the BTE Championship in a handstand competition against Luchasaurus.
  • Trevor and Arthur approached Christian Cage about being in the main event Cage match for their new promotion. They already signed Brian Cage. Christian was asleep the whole time with his headphones in.
  • Omega didn’t have scissors, so he tried to freeze off his facial hair. Omega’s music hit, and he was needed on stage. Omega shouted for Don Callis to do the promo, since Omega doesn’t know how.
  • Ryan Nemeth was in the desert with his cream performing a ritual.
  • Cutler had a flashback to cleaning blood off his hands while wearing a Dark Order mask. He decided to give in to the blackmail and add the Dark Order’s skit to BTE.
  • The Dark Order bickered about who would receive the tag title shot against the Young Bucks after they win the 10-man tag tonight on Dynamite. Both Evil Uno & Stu Grayson and Alex Reynolds & John Silver wanted it. Hangman Page assumed the choice would be Tay Conti & Anna Jay. The Dark Order presented a special gift to Hangman in anticipation of his world title match against Kenny Omega. The box shielded the surprise from the camera. Hangman was touched and decided to use it sooner than later, hinting at the big match tonight.
