With Vickie Guerrero busy managing Nyla Rose, and Zelina Vega back in WWE, Andrade El Idolo was a solo act.
He (and the AEW brass) decided that wasn’t the way to roll on Dynamite. So in his interview with Tony Schiavone on the July 21 show from Garland, Texas, we met his new “executive consultant”... Chavo Guerrero!
What?! Chavo Guerrero (@mexwarrior) is here and he's the new executive consultant for @AndradeElIdolo.

Eddie’s nephew put over his family’s legacy in Texas, and the quality of the AEW roster. But as talented as they are, they’re not on his man Andrade’s level.
That brought out the group El Idolo started calling out on his own last week, Death Triangle. He tried to recruit Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero M, but PAC & Lucha Bros made it clear they aren’t just business partners - they’re a family. Fenix also said he and his brother are the true face of Latinos, and Penta told Andrade he wasn’t on their level.
A brawl started but didn’t finish, and the segment just kind of ended.

But the prospect of Andrade working with any member of Death Triangle was already exciting, and the presence of Chavito just makes it more so.
Even more exciting for AEW is the possibility Guerrero is there to do more than just work with El Idolo. He’s largely been working behind the scenes lately (both in wrestling and Hollywood), and brings a wealth of knowledge about wrestling and television to AEW.
