The show opens with the intro video.

Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Spears (5 Labours of Jericho Match)

Maxwell Jacob Friedman joins commentary for this one.

Jericho with an early advantage but he goes to use a chair and gets caught up with referee Aubrey Edwards. Spears can’t quite turn the chair kefuffle into a momentum shift, Chris whips him into the barricade, beats him down on the apron, goes for the triangle dropkick but Shawn wings a chair into his face and cuts him off!

Beating Y2J down, big suplex, cover for two! Threading his arm under the ropes... SPEARS WALLOPS JERICHO’S INJURED ELBOW WITH A CHAIRSHOT AGAINST THE POST! Chris making a comeback with elbows, off the top with a double axehandle, he’s fired up! Setting Spears up top, climbing to join him, mounted punches... AVALANCHE FRANKENSTEINER!

Jericho laying chops in, whip reversed, sit-out spinebuster... JERICHO KICKS OUT! Walloping Chris with the chair, Y2J reverses, Walls of Jericho, Spears is tapping but Tully Blanchard distracts referee Aubrey Edwards and she doesn’t see it! Sammy Guevara comes down to equalize the legend, but Spears fights out and hits the C4... STILL NO!

Fireman’s carry, chair on the pile, Jericho slips out...

Chris Jericho wins by pinfall with the Judas Effect.

Post-match, MJF comes to the stage and gets on the mic, warning Jericho that if anybody else interferes in any of his other Labours, he’ll be disqualified and that’ll be it. Next week’s Labour is a no disqualification match against the most sadistic, criminal being to ever step in a ring. A man who once stabbed his opponent in the jugular, who once robbed a bank with no mask on... NICK GAGE! MDK GANG AFFILIATED Y’ALL!

HE’S HERE!

I CAN’T BREATHE!

WE HAVE TO GO TO BREAK!

Back from commercial we get a hype reel for Rampage.

Miro gets a video package that I can barely follow because I’m too excited for Nick Gage being on TV.

Excalibur confirms that Nick Gage is wrestling Chris Jericho next week and I just... Things are too good, y’all. I refuse to believe it.

Doc Gallows vs. Frankie Kazarian

Kazarian off the top with a missile dropkick early, Gallows returns a big boot and knocks Frankie to the floor, where Karl Anderson drops him with a lariat as we go to break.

Back from commercial, Gallows in control with a reverse chinlock, Kazarian gets away, back suplex, springboard leg drop... NOPE! Looking for the crossface chickenwing, blocked, Anderson runs interference but Frankie takes him out! Doc with a roundhouse kick, double choke...

Doc Gallows wins by pinfall with a chokebomb.

Post-match, the Good Brothers attack Kazarian and lay him out with the Magic Killer!

Kenny Omega and Don Callis come to the stage.

Callis says it’s time to take a good look at your AEW World Champion, and this is what you get when you mess with the Elite. Omega addresses Kazarian and says he’s been a thorn in their side for months, but the tables have turned and the Elite Hunter has become the Elite Hunted, and they’re gonna show him what they’re gonna do to Hangman Page next week.

Enter “Hangman” Adam Page.

Don points the numbers issue out, because he knows that cowboys aren’t very bright, and he asks Page if he’s drunk or stupid. Adam gives Callis his drink and picks a fight with the Good Brothers! He fights the good fight, they beat him down, but a moment later the Dark Order run out to make the save! Buckshot to Anderson!

Page stands tall with the Dark Order.

Brian Cage is interviewed backstage.

He asks if Team Taz are still here and he loves a celebration, like say the celebration Ricky Starks is going to have as the new FTW Champion next week.

Darby Allin vs. Wheeler YUTA

Circling, collar and elbow, Allin with a hammerlock, YUTA trying to reverse it but he can’t, flying mare, leg trip, bridge out, crucifix pin for two! Wheeler shoves him into the corner, HIKULEO is shown in the crowd briefly and Darby comes back putting boots to YUTA.

Wheeler gets him in the corner, hammering his injured ribs with punches, Allin turns him around for chops, whip reversed, boots up, Darby up top but YUTA trips him up into the turnbuckle! Octopus hold applied, point of the elbow driving into Allin’s ribs, but Darby gets into the ropes and forces the break! Wheeler with a German suplex for two, he goes up top, Allin cuts him off and climbs to join him!

Jockeying for position, superplex connects! Sting and Orange Cassidy have a face-off on the floor and Orange puts his hands in his pockets! They trade lackadaisical leg kicks, Darby gets distracted and almost gets rolled up! Crucifix pin gets another two, Allin with the standing Diamond Dust, he goes up top...

Darby Allin wins by pinfall with a Coffin Drop.

Post-match, the Blade appears and attacks Orange Cassidy!

We get a video package for tonight’s main event Texas Death Match between Lance Archer and Jon Moxley to send us to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of Nyla Rose powerbombing Dr. Britt Baker, DMD through a table last month.

Dr. Britt Baker, DMD (c) vs. Nyla Rose (AEW Women’s World Championship)

Collar and elbow, Baker shoves her off but Rose drops her with a shoulder-block! Waistlock, lifting the champ off her feet, she fights out, arm drag, knee drops to the arm, roll through, hammerlock applied! Schoolboy for two, cover, only one, Nyla slams her, follows with a senton and some mounted punches, slamming her head into the mat!

Rose up top, Rebel pulls Britt out of the way and she has to hop down! Champ with a reverse STO into the turnbuckles and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Rose hits a big Rock Bottom! Backbreaker follows, another one, into the backbreaker hold! Fallaway slam, corner body avalanche, Baker gets away, backslide... SO CLOSE! Basement DDT follows, cover for two! Rebel hands Britt her glove, Nyla takes advantage, chokeslam lift reversed into a victory roll... NOT ENOUGH!

Looking for Lockjaw, she can’t get all of it, fireman’s carry... DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Hanging Baker over the top rope, headed up top... DIVING KNEE ACROSS THE BACK OF HER NECK CANNOT KEEP THE GOOD DOCTOR DOWN! Snap swinging neckbreaker, basement superkick, Britt’s putting it together, another superkick... only two!

Off the ropes, Nyla catches her with a Nodowa Otoshi... NO GOOD! Rolling crucifix driver gets Baker a two count, rolling into another crucifix pin, she can’t get it, running stomp, another one... THE NATIVE BEAST KICKS OUT! Big forearm from the challenger and both women are down and out! Britt grabs the title but referee Paul Turner warns her off, Nyla gets her up... BEAST BOMB CAN’T KEEP BAKER DOWN!

Another Beast Bomb reversed, roll through, she wants Lockjaw... AND SHE GETS IT! IT’S OVER!

Dr. Britt Baker, DMD wins by submission with Lockjaw to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Tony Schiavone moderates a panel between FTR and Proud-N-Powerful.

FTR say they respect Santana and Ortiz as wrestlers but not as men. PNP say they’ve been here since day one and FTR are just a pitstop on their way to tag team gold. Santana whips out a photo of his mother at 15 years old, her first apartment, a newspaper article about her mom taking slumlords to court. Dax says he only cares about god, his family, and pro wrestling and the only thing left is to show up and beat ass.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Tony Schiavone introduces Andrade el Idolo.

Andrade says he has a surprise for everyone, and his assistant confers with Tony for a moment. Schiavone welcomes the new executive consultant to Andrade el Idolo... Chavo Guerrero?

Weird.

Anyway, Chavo gets on the mic and talks up Andrade’s talent before being interrupted.

Death Triangle are here!

PAC gets on the mic and says he doesn’t know who Andrade thinks he is, but last week they heard their name in his mouth, and for the record, let it be known that Death Triangle hides from no one. Andrade thanks them for coming and says Lucha Brothers are good, but he’s great. He says he’s an elite superstar, and Chavo takes the mic.

He says PAC only speaks one language so he’s gonna explain it to him, they’re all talented, everybody knows that, but their waists aren’t shiny enough and they want to change that, and they can if they just listen to Andrade. El Idolo has one question for Lucha Brothers— why work for PAC? The Bastard says Penta and Fenix don’t work for him, Death Triangle are a team, a family, a brotherhood.

Rey Fenix says the same thing in Spanish before adding that they are the real face of Latinos. Penta says some stuff in Spanish and Alex Abrahantes translates— why would they want to join a group with Andrade when he’s not even on their level? El Idolo asks them to be tranquilo and referees swarm to keep a brawl from breaking out.

We see footage from earlier of Hardy Family Office putting boots to Jurassic Express until Christian Cage made the save.

Christian cuts a promo, saying it took four of HFO to take out little Marko Stunt, and he thought beating Matt Hardy would be the end of it but it wasn’t, so he suggests him and the two healthy Jurassic boys against Private Party and Angelico next week.

And so we go to break.

QT Marshall and the Factory are interviewed backstage.

QT says an apology to Tony Schiavone is in order, and he’ll get it next week.

Orange Cassidy vs. Pepper “the Blade” Parks

Blade thinks he’s won by forfeit but Orange slipped in the ring behind him and beats him down at the bell! Parks ducks under the Orange Punch and runs away, out and back in and the Blade puts boots to him! Off the ropes, drop downs on drop downs, Parks comes up with an injured leg and referee Bryce Remsburg warns him off!

Blade pops up and runs around to hit a boot, taunting Orange! Stundog Millionaire connects, Cassidy heads up top, Pepper trips him up and climbs to meet him... TURNBUCKLE DOCTOR BOMB! WE GOTTA GO TO BREAK!

Back from commercial, Parks hammering Cassidy with chops, Orange fights back and puts his face into the turnbuckles! Off the top, diving crossbody, duck a lariat, big DDT... NOPE! Kris Statlander and the Bunny get into it on the floor, Cassidy dives and Pepper pulls Kris in his way! Orange shoves Parks into the Bunny and knocks her ears off!

Blade blocks the Beach Break, back inside, DDT blocked, he suplexes Orange into the ropes and drops him with a lariat! Spinning Tombstone Piledriver... CASSIDY KICKS OUT! Doctor Bomb blocked, he can’t get Blade up for the Beach Break! Second try’s the charm, into the cover... PARKS KICKS OUT! Bunny throws the brass knucks in, Blade has them, Orange ducks a shot, Orange Punch!

Into the cover...

Orange Cassidy wins by pinfall with the Orange Punch.

Post-match, Cassidy brandishes the knucks... ASSISTED ORANGE PUNCH KNOCKS HIM OUT COLD!

Chris Jericho is interviewed backstage.

He says if MJF is going to bring in the most violent and demented man in pro wrestling to face him, he’s going to be the most violent and demented version of Chris Jericho, so next week against Nick Gage, he’ll be the Painmaker!

Commentary hypes up next week’s card, including a big announcement from Tony Khan as to a new live event!

Plus we get a video package for Cody Rhodes vs. Malakai Black, set to take place on August 4, before going to break.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Lance Archer (IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Texas Death Match)

Moxley right on him out the gates, hammering with punches, headed to the floor for a kendo stick and back in, wailing on Archer’s back and legs! Lance with the goozle, trading forearms, off the ropes, Archer with the pounce! To the floor, Jon sidesteps him into the barricade and shoulder blocks him through!

Fighting up the steps into the crowd, back down, diving knee from Mox and Archer picks up a fan and slams him into the champion! Back in the ring, Jon ducks a lariat, clothesline to the floor, off the ropes... A FOREARM TO THE HEAD STOPS THE SUICIDE DIVE! Throwing the steel steps around, the Murderhawk Monster pulls the pads up on the floor and scoops Mox up!

Slips out, DDT on the concrete! Calling for the count, referee Rick Knox on it but Archer gets back to his feet! MOXLEY HAS A FORK! HE STABS LANCE ARCHER IN THE FOREHEAD WITH THE FORK! WE GOTTA GO TO BREAK!

Back from commercial, Archer is bleeding heavily as Knox issues the count but he beats it and counters a trash can lid shot by punching it into Moxley’s face! Trading punches, Mox bloodied now as well, Jon biting his forehead, off the ropes and caught by a double axehandle! Ripcord, reversed, German suplex connects, big boot, ripcord into the Bossman Slam!

Trash can shot, Archer setting chairs up for a bit of hardcore feng shui! Got him up, Blackout countered and Mox hits a low blow! Lance recovers and chokeslams him into the backs of the chairs! Lying in wait, Moxley beats the count and Archer boots him down! Charging in, Mox with a huge lariat, Paradigm Shift, waiting for the count... ARCHER POPS UP AND FLIPS HIM THE DOUBLE BIRDS!

MOXLEY SPIKES HIM WITH THE FORK AGAIN AND AGAIN! Laying some barbed wire boards on tables set up at ringside, drawing Lance up on the apron, he blocks... ARCHER HAS THE FORK AND HE’S STABBING MOXLEY WITH IT... CHOKESLAM INTO THE TABLES! Referee Rick Knox counts, Mox out of it and trapped in the wire...

Lance Archer wins, becoming the new IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.

A bloodied Lance Archer holds the title high while Moxley lies stuck in the wire.

HIKULEO pops up on the apron, ready to challenge for the title next week! He slides in the ring and stares Lance down, having a good inch or two on him.

That’s the show, folks.
