Darby Allin is the highlight of Dynamite whenever he main events Dynamite

That, and other select bits from another quality two hours of wrestling from AEW’s Fyter Fest on July 14.

The crazy Coffin Drop spot is what got people buzzing after Fyter Fest Night One from Austin last night (July 14). But we knew Darby Allin would be a hot topic as soon as his Coffin Match with Ethan Page was announced.

He’s always good for at least one bonkers bump you’ll see shared around the interwebs, sure. He’s going to go all out, all match. Coming up with creative elements...

... as he tells a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Even before he goes full Jackass (a movie franchise he sadly says he won’t be joining), Allin oozes cool from the moment he steps on stage. Unlike his wrestling style, Darby does a lot with his character without doing much of anything. You just know this is a guy you want to watch.

Shout to frequent dance partner Ethan Page, who’s been co-authoring great performances with Allin since the indies. But it’s Darby who’s built a track record on Dynamite that says “if this guy is wrestling, you want to be watching.”

YouTube videos are being doled out slowly, as is AEW’s model these days. But we’ve compiled what they’ve released as of this morning in this playlist, and tried to catch you up with the rest of the episode via Twitter clips below that.

  • What’s Next for The Elite and Dark Order? Omega and Hangman?
