Chris Jericho wants in on Floyd Mayweather

New, 8 comments

Floyd Mayweather will be running an exhibition match against YouTube star Logan Paul later on this evening (Sun., June 6, 2021) in Miami, Florida. Because of the star power at play here, those involved are going to make a lot of money off this, no matter the outcome.

By the way, it’s entirely possible there is no outcome. It’s an exhibition without judges. Knockouts are allowed but if it goes the distance, which will be eight rounds, no winner will be declared.

Still, Google trends show folks are interested, and that will likely be reflected in the pay-per-view buyrate. Naturally, everyone wants in on the promotional fun to help push their brand, as we saw with WWE interviewing Paul about the match. Now, AEW’s Chris Jericho is getting in on it:

Considering the money AEW has been willing to throw around, and Mayweather’s willingness to get in a pro wrestling ring for a big payday in the past, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that this could turn into something.

We’ll see how Mayweather vs. Paul plays out later tonight.
