The Elite Hunter helps Kingston & Penta get a Tag title shot

Kazarian AEW’s Twitter

Don Callis & Kenny Omega weren’t there, but it looked like The Young Bucks were going to ride the usual Elite shenanigans to victory over Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero M in the opener of the last Dynamite in Daily’s Place.

Well, there was one tweak to the formula. Look at those sweet ‘staches on Matt & Nick!

The Bucks flaunted the rules, and made liberal use of the referee, and looked to be on the verge of denying Kingston & Penta a title shot (this was one of the beat-the-champs-to-earn-a-championship-match deals AEW calls an Eliminator). Once The Good Brothers showed up, it felt like a fait accompli, even after the challengers had Matt & Nick on the ropes...

But ever since The Bucks’ bs ended his friend Christopher Daniels’ career, Frankie Kazarian has been looking to punish every member of The Elite. And tonight, his distraction and involvement took out the elder Jackson & Brandon Cutler, which allowed Penta to take out Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson & the other Buck.

That left Matt all alone, and after a combo from Eddie & the Lucha Bro, The Bucks next challengers are set.

No word on when that match will take place, but I’d bet on one of the nights of Fyter Fest (July 14 or 21) or Fight For The Fallen (July 28). UPDATE: I’m wrong - no surprise there. AEW’s announced the Tag title match will take place next Wednesday at Road Rager in Miami.
