Blood & Guts delivers one million viewers and a huge ratings win for AEW

The ratings and viewership data are in for this week’s (May 5) episode of AEW Dynamite.

Per Showbuzz Daily, Dynamite netted 1,090,000 viewers for a 0.42 rating point in the 18-49 demographic.

This is a significant increase of about 201,000 viewers from the prior week, and a surge up from last week’s 0.33 demo rating. AEW finished in first place in the demo rating for the night.

Blood & Guts was a clear ratings success for AEW. It brought Dynamite back over the one million viewer mark and gave them the top demo rating in the night for all of cable television. I would bet that Tony Khan has zero regrets with putting this match on Dynamite rather than saving it for pay-per-view.
