AEW Rewind: QT Marshall wants to punch -1, Dustin Rhodes’ black eye, more!

Dustin Rhodes’ Twitter

Don’t have time to follow all of AEW’s online content? Don’t worry. We got you covered with the AEW Rewind, which will rewind through social media bits and YouTube videos from the past week to prepare you for Wednesday night Dynamite.

Road to AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts hyped the aforementioned spectacle with the Inner Circle and the Pinnacle, as well as featured a therapy session for QT Marshall dishing on his squabble with Cody Rhodes.

The video does a good job setting the mood for Blood & Guts. The history, danger, and fighter mindsets are explored effectively. The closing scene saw QT channel his inner Tony Soprano by throwing cash at a psychiatrist. The shrink was clearly biased in favor of Cody. QT is also tired of playing babysitter to -1. He wants to punch that kid’s teeth out when he turns 18.

Even though Cody is not in the actual Blood & Guts match, the excitement for the craziness is still permeating throughout his household. Yeti Pinkerton is raring to go.

If you are wondering why QT has a such a loyal army as commander of the Factory, Anthony Ogogo and Nick Comoroto explained their allegiance.

Comoroto’s words aren’t just fluff. He gave Dustin Rhodes a black eye with that cowbell shot last week. I think it is safe to say Comoroto is a man of his word.

After Miro smashed Kip Sabian’s arm with a door, Sabian left a cryptic message.

Will Sabian get a darker edge to match Miro? Will Sabian go after Miro for payback? There are so many ways that story could potentially play out.

Sonny Kiss was the guest on Outside the Ring with Lexy Nair (here). Sonny discussed twerking techniques, favorite cereal, favorite movies, and other quick topics.

The second annual showcase for Nightmare Factory students was released (here). It features newcomers getting a shot in the ring. In some occasions, it was their first match. Cody was one of the coaches over the 12-week camp.

Being the Elite

“Trick Shot” - Being The Elite, Ep. 254 (here) featured:

  • The Young Bucks showed off their fancy clothes for a photo shoot. Bullet sound effects made it funny.
  • Nick Jackson lost the mini basketball shooting indoor hoops. The Bucks discussed being two Bret Harts walking down the aisle as kids shout for joy.
  • 10 was frustrated about losing to Darby Allin. People lose things all the time. Alex Reynolds left the door open and lost John Silver. Evil Uno thinks Stu Grayson lost his mind. Colt Cabana lost his allergy medicine. The Dark Order lamented Hangman Page losing his #1 status. They searched the room looking for Silver.
  • Nick hit trick shots on his mini hoop at home.
  • JD Drake couldn’t fit into Peter Avalon’s jacket. They overheard manly noises of satisfaction. It turned out that Avalon was trimming Cezar Bononi’s mustache. Ryan Nemeth’s reaction to the eroticism is that he needs a mustache.
  • The Elite sang the BTE song. The Bucks wanted to move on from Too Sweet into a new hand gesture. The Good Brothers began scissoring hands.
  • Grayson took Brandon Cutler for an adventure. They went to hunt down the girl that does not exist (Anna Jay). It turned out to be Will Hobbs. Grayson ran away.
  • Nyla Rose and Ryzin requested a monetary donation from Avalon and Bononi. They declined, so Nyla created a dancing distraction for Vickie Guerrero to steal Avalon’s phone.
  • Back to more fly gear flashing from the Bucks. Their shoes were robotic.
  • The show closed with another trick shot from Nick while sliding on the Slip ‘N Slide.

Not a whole lot for Dynamite consumption in this episode of BTE. It was mostly material for giggles.

We’ll close with some cool Lego artwork of AEW moments from Astrid.

I can’t wait for an AEW Lego Movie.
