Double Or Nothing will be held at full capacity

Tony Khan made the announcement during his weekly appearance on Busted Open Radio

AEW President Tony Khan is a regular Wednesday guest on Sirius’s Busted Open Radio.

Today (May 5), ahead of the big Blood & Guts episode of Dynamite, he had several announcements to make. The biggest was that the company’s next PPV, May 30’s Double Or Nothing, will happen in front of a full capacity crowd at Jacksonville’s Daily’s Place. Khan also said there will be a Saturday “Fan Fest”, along with the live show/television taping we already knew would be taking place on Fri., May 28.

It’s a big step forward, even for a company that’s been regularly working in front of limited capacity, socially distanced crowds for a while now. Presumably there will still be COVID precautions in place, but details on those will come when we hear more about tickets going on sale.

Daily’s Place holds approximately 5,500 people. It also has the advantage of being an outdoor amphitheater, so it’s not like AEW will be doing what the UFC did in Jacksonville last month when they put 15,000+ fans in VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena for their return to fighting in front of crowds.

Excited to hear the roar of the crowd at Double Or Nothing?
