The packed house was the highlight of Dynamite this week

That, and other select bits from another quality two hours of wrestling from All Elite on May 28.

Look, it’s entirely possible, maybe even probable, that someone attending an AEW event this weekend in Jacksonville’s Daily’s Place will give COVID to someone else. I have no idea whether everyone is vaccinated, but just statistically speaking, a lot of them have to be. And they’re outside.

So it’s with little guilt that I say... G-D it was cool to hear a full crowd reacting to a pro wrestling show again.

The May 28 Dynamite gave us that, and Double or Nothing will do it again on Sunday night. More shows from AEW and WWE will follow, and that makes for better pro wrestling, and it maybe, just maybe, means we’re coming out of the dark tunnel we entered into collectively in early 2020.

Hearing the roar for Darby Allin’s music at the start of last night’s broadcast, and then the jeers for the Wingmen’s attack, and the pop when Dark Order runs in to save Sting? Wonderful.

And special recognition to this dude, representing for all of us tattoo-ed men who are fired up but just a little too old to scream at the top of our lungs and slam into the guy next to us like we probably would have at a Social Distortion concert in 1992.

Ahem, anyway...

YouTube videos are being doled out slowly, as is AEW’s model these days. But we’ve compiled what they’ve released as of this morning in this playlist, and tried to catch you up with the rest of the episode via Twitter clips below that.

  • Witness the Electric Start to Dynamite + Sting & Darby
  • What Were Moxley’s & Kingston’s Last Words for the Young Bucks?
  • Who Will Walk Away With the AEW World Championship This Sunday?
