All Elite Wrestling is putting on their big Memorial Day weekend PPV tomorrow (Sun., May 30, 2021) at Jacksonville’s Daily’s Place - Double or Nothing!

After a free streaming pre-show which starts 30 minutes earlier, the event starts at 8PM Eastern, and can be purchased on B/R Live (and traditional PPV) here in the U.S. & Canada, or internationally on Fite.

The third annual Double or Nothing marks a year of events in Tony Khan’s backyard. But anticipation high for a return the road in a couple months - and All Out 3 almost certainly taking place somewhere other than Florida, the company’s got a solid looking show booked for this weekend.

And we’ve assembled our motley crew to give thoughts & predictions on each bout on the card!

Let's get to it.

AEW DOUBLE OR NOTHING PREDICTIONS

Kenny Omega (c) vs. PAC vs. Orange Cassidy for the AEW World title

Sean Rueter: Should be fun! Cassidy is over like rover, and I trust all involved to tell a story that will have a packed house convinced he could actually win... right until he doesn’t. What I’m really interested in is where this goes on the card. If it’s last, I’m gonna be looking for Andrade. Or someone (or a video message from someone) to come through the Forbidden Door. Or Bryan Danielson. Pick: Kenny Omega

Kyle Decker: This doesn’t feel like a big title match. It will be good, but it is meant to extend Kenny’s title reign while protecting the other two given they’re not losing a one on one match. Pick: Kenny Omega

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: As much as I’d love to see Orange pick up the big win here, I really don’t see Kenny dropping the belt just yet. Omega retains and holds it until whichever of All Out or the first of these TNT supercards happens first. Pick: Kenny Omega

Cain A. Knight: Orange Cassidy gets the big win and a feel good moment in front of the live audience, but then drops the title back to Omega whenever they have a rematch on Dynamite or Rampage. Pick: Orange Cassidy

Manolo H. Pizzazz: Kenny Omega is the pick, because he is a wrestling god. Is PAC a wrestling god? No, he is not. Is Orange Cassidy a wrestling god? No, he is not. Is Omega a wrestling god? Yes, he is. Case closed. Pick: Kenny Omega

Stella Cheeks: There is no universe in which Kenny Omega drops the championship this early into his reign. Especially since it’s a cool, but random three-way. I expect both of his challengers get solo opportunities against the champ after this PPV. Pick: Kenny Omega

The Young Bucks (c) vs. Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston for the AEW Tag Team championship

Sean Rueter: Done thinking Mox is taking much time off when Nora comes, and I really want him and Eddie to win. But I just don’t think it happens. Pick: The Young Bucks

Kyle Decker: This is probably the biggest match on the card and I’m not completely ruling out a quick win for MoxKing, but more likely, the true tag team holds onto the gold. Pick: The Young Bucks

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: I want Mox and King to win the titles more than anything. They’ve got the power of friendship AND ultraviolence on their side! So, let’s go with backfiring shenanigans of some kind leading to a title change, eh? Pick: Eddie Kingston & Jon Moxley

Cain A. Knight: Jon Moxley has to go on paternity leave within the next couple weeks, no? Pick: The Young Bucks

Manolo H. Pizzazz: If there was ever a pair of wrestlers in need of a butt-kicking, it would be the Young Bucks. If there was ever a pair of wrestlers that needed to kick butt, it would be Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston. Shoe meet butt. Kick away. Pick: Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston

Stella Cheeks: If Renee weren’t pregnant and about to pop my answer might be different, but with baby Moxley on the horizon it feels like The Young Bucks retain. Pick: The Young Bucks

Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. for the AEW Women’s championship

Sean Rueter: It’s been a rough week in Pittsburgh sports. Give us this one. Pick: Dr. Britt Baker, DMD

Kyle Decker: It’s time. Pick: Dr. Britt Baker, DMD

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: Shida’s reign has had its ups and downs, and no doubt she’s excellent, but it’s high past time it ended. Pick: Dr. Britt Baker, DMD

Cain A. Knight: Baker has a feud with Thunder Rosa waiting for her once she wins the title from Shida. Pick: Britt Baker

Manolo H. Pizzazz: Hikaru Shida is the best women’s wrestler on the roster. She also has the deepest reservoir of intestinal fortitude. While Dr. Britt Baker Dorkus of Malorkus in Dentistry has iconic moments on her résumé, the end result of those moments have been defeat. Pick: Hikaru Shida

Stella Cheeks: It’s time. Shida was a great champ during the pandemic, but Britt is a champion for a new era. A new era with a slightly more gold, larger belt. Pick: Dr. Britt Baker, DMD

Miro vs. Lance Archer for the TNT championship

Sean Rueter: He’s going to move up the ladder and chase the World title before too long, but not just yet. Pick: Miro

Kyle Decker: You don’t take the gold off a red hot Miro. I don’t know what that means for Archer, who’s never gotten off the ground in AEW. Pick: Miro

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: AEW aren’t afraid to hot shot the TNT title a little bit but I’m not feeling it here at all. Pick: Miro

Cain A. Knight: Lance Archer always loses the most important matches. Pick: Miro

Manolo H. Pizzazz: Miro is the better athlete. He will be more explosive in a key moment leading to Lance Archer’s demise. Pick: Miro

Stella Cheeks: I just want to see Miro punch Jake if I’m being honest. Pick: Miro

Inner Circle vs. The Pinnacle in Stadium Stampede

Sean Rueter: Really like the idea Claire is going with, but I don’t think that’s where they’re going. There are plenty of ways to protect MJF & crew in a loss when it comes to a match like this. One of which is to have Wardlow definitely destroy Jake Hager for asking someone to do this to his hair. Pick: Inner Circle

Kyle Decker: The interesting story, at least for me, is the Inner Circle being forced to break up. But while AEW takes some chances, I think they play it safe here. I think the IC wins this one and they do a third down the round. Pick: The Inner Circle

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: The thing I keep coming back to is there’s nothing you can do with the Inner Circle together that you can’t do if they’re forced to splinter, and the Pinnacle could use the reinforcement a second big win would give, especially one that isn’t a throwing in of the towel. Pick: The Pinnacle

Cain A. Knight: It’s not the right time to break up the Inner Circle. Shawn Spears exists to take this pin. Pick: Inner Circle

Manolo H. Pizzazz: I was leaning toward the Pinnacle prior to Dynamite, but there is no way the Inner Circle is going out on that beatdown. That may prove to be a strategical miscalculation on behalf of the Pinnacle. If the ambush isn’t motivation enough, then Dean Malenko will be the rallying cry. Sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell them to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Iceman! Pick: Inner Circle

Stella Cheeks: The Pinnacle won Blood & Guts so I assume the Inner Circle wins the stampede. We’re stuck in a never-ending feud so the math checks out. Pick: Inner Circle

Darby Allin & Sting vs. Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky

Sean Rueter: This one’s not that deep, and I saved all my “humor” for what’s in bold and italics. Pick: The Man that Miro Killed and Emo-Face Paint Daddy

Kyle Decker: I don’t see how losing to Darby and his old friend does anything for Page & Sky. They should win this match by pinning Allin, protecting the Icon, and giving the talented heels a big rub. Pick: Page & Sky

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: I really wish I could pick my man All Ego here but I don’t think he’s taking this one. Maybe it ends up being a DQ or something, but babyfaces win. Pick: Skateboard Sting & Sting Classic

Cain A. Knight: Page & Sky could really use this win, but I don’t think Sting and Darby lose in front of 5000 fans. Pick: Darby Allin & Sting

Manolo H. Pizzazz: It’s Sting! Pick: Darby Allin & Sting

Stella Cheeks: It’s Sting’s first in-ring match in six years. It’s Stinger’s night. Let’s just hope he survives the experience. Pick: Darby Allin & Sting

Anthony Ogogo vs. Cody Rhodes

Sean Rueter: Mostly I think it’s too early to do this match. Rhodes really shouldn’t lose a personal feud to a newcomer, but a potential monster like Ogogo shouldn’t lose his first PPV bout. There’s a story to be told where Ogogo thinks he can win with one punch, Cody outsmarts him, so the big Brit rebuilds and comes back stronger. We’ll see if they tell that. The scattershot nature of the build so far doesn’t fill me with confidence. Pick: Cody Rhodes

Kyle Decker: Ogogo should win this match and to be fair, Cody isn’t shy about putting guys over when needed. But I just can’t see him losing while using his father’s name. Pick: Cody Rhodes

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: Normally I roll my eyes at “the heel is really the babyface” fan discourse but Ogogo is absolutely the babyface here next to the American Ramble. But Cody’s ego is exactly big enough that he’s not gonna lose here, so... Pick: Cody Rhodes

Cain A. Knight: Cody won’t lose as the American Dream, but he might get knocked out afterwards. Pick: Cody Rhodes

Manolo H. Pizzazz: Cody Rhodes is a savvy veteran. While I do believe he will be stubborn enough to trade punches blow for blow with Anthony Ogogo, I think Cody will quickly realize that mistake and go low for a traditional wrestling takedown. Cody has the skills to grind the boxer to a nub. Pick: Cody Rhodes

Stella Cheeks: I refuse to pick Cody Rhodes. Pick: Anthony Ogogo

Casino Battle Royale for a World title shot

Sean Rueter: He’s got an entire Family Office there to ensure he gets that title shot. What could possibly go wrong? Pick: Matt Hardy

Kyle Decker: There’s only one man in the match that sticks out as the obvious winner. Who am I to pick against that? Pick: The Blade

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: Christian’s got this one, I think. Pick: Christian Cage

Cain A. Knight: The winner will either be Christian or the mystery guy. It doesn’t seem that Christian was originally supposed to be in this match, so I’ll go with the mystery entrant. Pick: Mystery entrant

Manolo H. Pizzazz: Let’s spice this show up with a surprise victory for Will Hobbs. The title match reward will be on TV anyway, so do something unpredictable with it. Pick: Will Hobbs

Stella Cheeks: There is no one in this match that screams Champion to me so I’m going with the Mystery Pick. Pick: Mystery entrant

Brian Cage vs. Hangman Page

Sean Rueter: Get ready for some (angsty millenial) cowboy shit. Pick: Hangman Page

Kyle Decker: The reason Page lost to Cage was so they could delay him getting his inevitable title shot. He’ll win here to get back on that track. Pick: Hangman Page

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: The go-home promo really elevated this one and cemented that Page is going over and Cage is finally going to move on from Team Taz in the aftermath. Pick: “Hangman” Adam Page

Cain A. Knight: I don’t see Page losing two consecutive matches against Cage. Pick: Hangman Page

Manolo H. Pizzazz: If cowboys can beat aliens, then they can surely take down a machine. Pick: Hangman Page

Stella Cheeks: Hangman wins and Brian Cage breaks up with Team Taz. Pick: “Hangman” Adam Page

Serena Deeb (c) vs. Riho for the NWA Women’s title

Sean Rueter: She’s just keeping it warm for Kamille, but still... Pick: Serena Deeb

Kyle Decker: I doubt the NWA title is changing hands. Pick: Serena Deeb

Rev. Claire Elizabeth: I don’t really see Riho winning the title in her first match in months with no story juice behind it on the pre-show. Pick: Serena Deeb

Cain A. Knight: This could be one of the best matches of the night, but there won’t be a title change on the pre-show. Pick: Serena Deeb

Manolo H. Pizzazz: Serena Deeb will find a way to nullify Riho’s speed advantage. That’s when Deeb will get ruthless. Pick: Serena Deeb

Stella Cheeks: It’s neat that this match is happening, but there are virtually no stakes. The NWA women’s championship isn’t going to change hands on a different brand’s pre-show. Pick: Serena Deeb
