Stolen shoes, Stadium Stampede & Sting’s non-cinematic AEW debut round out Double or Nothing card

AEW’s Twitter

AEW promised we’d know the complete line-up for their May 30 PPV before tonight’s Dynamite was over. Even before the show started, we learned that Miro would defend the TNT title against Lance Archer at Double or Nothing.

What else got added to the card?

Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky wanted to run their mouths about what they’ve done to Darby Allin & Sting over the past few weeks. The former TNT titleholder and his mentor returned on May 19 to let the heels know they’re coming for payback. They’ll get a chance to continue the assault next weekend, and AEW made it clear this won’t be a cinematic match like Sting & Darby’s Revolution showdown with Team Taz.

There was never much doubt about Inner Circle’s response to The Pinnacle’s challenge. To get a rematch with - and a chance for revenge against - MJF & crew, Chris Jericho & company had to agree to split up if they lose. Are they in?

Tonight’s other big addition was a Tag title match. The Young Bucks screwed Varsity Blondes over in the main event of Dynamite, liberally using cold spray on both Brian Pillman, Jr. and Julia Hart en route to making Pillman tap out. But that set the stage for Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston to slide in, put the champs to sleep, steal their shoes, and set-up a PPV bout.

Here’s the updated card for Memorial Day weekend:

- Kenny Omega (c) vs. PAC vs. Orange Cassidy(?) for the AEW championship

- The Young Bucks (c) vs. Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston for the Tag Team titles

- Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. vs. Hikaru Shida (c) for the Women’s championship

- Inner Circle vs. The Pinnacle in Stadium Stampede (if Inner Circle loses, they must disband)

- Miro (c) vs. Lance Archer for the TNT title

- Sting & Darby Allin vs. Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky

- Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Ogogo

- Hangman Page vs. Brian Cage

- Casino Battle Royale
