Sting’s next feud is now clear

After Sting and Darby Allin’s feud with Team Taz came to a close, Sting moved into the role of Darby’s corner man for Allin’s TNT title bouts.

There was a tease of a possible feud with Lance Archer, but that just ended with Sting verbally putting the big man over. After that, it was just Sting making sure Allin’s TNT title matches were fair.

And that kept him busy. After the street fight against Team Taz, Darby focused on defending his title more often. That continued tonight with a defense against Dark Order’s 10. This was at the champs request, wanting to give Brodie Lee’s hand picked member of the Order a shot in honor of his late colleague who held that same title.

The match was good, as most of them have been. In the middle, Ethan Page cheap shotted the champ, putting him at a disadvantage. This led into the finish where 10 trapped Allin in a sleep, but Darby ran up the turnbuckle and reversed it into a pin.

After the match, the men showed each other respect and Darby held up 10’s “Brodie Lee” armband.

It was a nice moment that was ruined by Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, who attacked Allin and his mentor. Page focused on the champ while Scorpio attacked the Icon, working his leg. When Dynamite faded to black, both Darby and Sting were left laying.

This is going to lead to a feud where Sting gets physical. He’s not taking that beating without retaliation. It’ll probably be a tag bout, maybe at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 30. But the legend looks like he’ll be fighting soon.

Excited for it?
