Another big star says he’s not AEW’s mystery signee

We can now add UFC legend Daniel Cormier to the list of people who say they won’t be the “huge star” behind AEW’s “biggest scoop ever” on Sun., Mar. 7 at Revolution.

Of course, everyone knows that shooting down a pro wrestling rumor doesn’t mean that rumor isn’t true. And the man who brings us this latest denial acknowledges it could just be cover for a reveal this weekend:

Former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight champion Cormier is a lifelong pro wrestling fan who’s talked about working commentary for WWE in the past, and fantasy booked a crossover feud with Brock Lesnar. Triple H has confirmed WWE’s interest in signing DC. Outside of Lesnar himself and CM Punk, he’s probably the biggest star Tony Khan could produce for the Revolution contract signing.

But he says it isn’t him, so...
