Our deeds have traveled far, what we have been is what we are. She wanted love forever, but he had another plan. He fell into an evil way, she had to let him down, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with the intro video.

Biel across the ring, Jade does push-ups, Red recovers and goes for a crossbody only to get hit with a fallaway slam! Kip-up, Cargill running hot, piefacing Cody, leading him to run in and blast Shaq off the apron with a knee! Austin Gunn hits O’Neal with a chair and he slams him and his brother! Shaq grabs QT Marshall but referee Bryce Remsburg goes to the floor to restore order! RED VELVET WITH THE ORIHARA MOONSAULT!

Back inside, Velvet with right hands, whip blocked, Cargill with a knee strike and a double leg, spinning toehold into the figure four leglock! Red briefly rolls over and reverses the pressure but Jade recovers and bridges for extra pressure before breaking the hold! Cargill counts her abs and I am gay and she is gorgeous. Jade to the floor, she sets up a table, Velvet smashes her face into it and throws her back inside.

Red repositions the table and gets a second one to set up next to it. Trading shots, Velvet lands an enzuigiri and Cody tags in! CACTUS CROSSBODY SENDS SHAQ CRASHING INTO THE TABLES AT RINGSIDE! Jade concerned about her partner, Velvet lying in wait... A SPEAR CAN’T KEEP HER DOWN! She gets her up on a shoulder, Jade reverses, Red slips out, double chickenwing...

Jade Cargill & Shaquille O’Neal win by pinfall with a Glam Slam from Cargill on Red Velvet.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of the match and see Shaq being stretchered out in an ambulance.

Tony Schiavone is standing by outside the ambulance and he opens the door to reveal that Shaq is no longer inside of the ambulance.

Death Triangle (PAC & Rey Fenix) vs. D3 & John Skyler

John Skyler to start, Death Triangle make short work of him, clear D3 off the apron, 450 splash sets up a Fenix Driver...

Death Triangle win by pinfall with a Fenix Driver from Rey Fenix on John Skyler.

The Inner Circle, comprising tonight Chris Jericho, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Wardlow, Ortiz, and Santana, make their entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Inner Circle’s press release is actually a Q&A and we can’t hear the first person to ask a question.

Chris Jericho answers by talking about what the tag titles mean to him and reminding us that he’s a seven-time tag champion with names ranging from Dwayne Johnson to Paul Wight, and now it’s time for them to beat the hell out of the Young Bucks just like they did their stupid father.

Next question, Conrad Thompson asks the odds of letting Sammy Guevara back in the Inner Circle, MJF calls him turkey tits and Y2J screams at him to leave.

Next one, Maxwell claims that what they did to Papa Buck last week was self-defense and complains that he got his “backyard blood” all over his custom suit. Santana adds that it was a stupid idea to bring daddy to ringside given that there’s no line they won’t cross.

Next question, it’s Eric Bischoff again! He asks Chris directly if he knows the condition of Papa Buck and, on his list of stupid ideas, where does motivating the Young Bucks to come after him with vengeance rank? Jericho tells him to shut his mouth, they don’t know how Papa Buck is doing, and they don’t care. As far as vengeance goes—

Enter the Young Bucks.

They say the Inner Circle made this personal and their dad is the greatest father in the world. He taught them everything they know about compassion, empathy, faith, family, and love, and he built them their own ring in the backyard with his bare hands. That DIY spirit is what created the Young Bucks, Being the Elite, and AEW itself. And if there was no AEW, then Max is still probably at home unemployed waiting for a callback from the Rosie O’Donnell show.

And Jericho would probably be jerking the curtain tonight at the Performance Center! Papa Buck also taught them to stand up for themselves and that means sometimes you have to kick some ass... SUPERKICK PARTY! BRANDON CUTLER JOINS THE FRAY AND REFEREES AND ROAD AGENTS COME DOWN TO BREAK IT UP! THE GOOD BROTHERS ARE HERE WITH A TABLE!

They hold Ortiz down while Nick Jackson climbs the entry... SENTON ATOMICO OFF THE ENTRY AND THROUGH A TABLE! MATT ALSO DIVES ON SANTANA FROM STAGE TO FLOOR!

We get a video package hyping up the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch that Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley (and featuring some comments from Atsushi Onita himself!) will be having on Sunday.

FTR make their entrance, accompanied by JJ Dillon, to send us to break.

FTR (Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood, & Tully Blanchard) vs. Jurassic Express (“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, Luchasaurus, & Marko Stunt)

Blanchard and Stunt to start, collar and elbow and Tully gets him in the corner to work him over with punches and kicks. Quick tag, stalemate, all six men squaring up. Perry legal, Harwood pushes him into the corner for chops, off the ropes, shoulder block, drop down, leapfrog, drop down, leapfrog, Jungle Boy with a dropkick! Wheeler runs interference, Jack drops Dax with a lariat and German suplexes him!

Snare Trap applied but Cash breaks it up! Brawling with Jungle Boy on the floor, he applies the Snare Trap and Wheeler taps out! JJ Dillon slips Dax a shoe, he blasts Perry with it, cover... SO CLOSE! Tully tags in, fakes out a dive, and tags right back out to send us to break.

Back from commercial, FTR in control but Perry tags out to Luchasaurus and he comes in hot! HE PRESS SLAMS MARKO INTO TULLY! Double goozle, Dax and Cash fight out, double whip, dino man with a comeback, assisted powerslam, only two! Jungle Boy tags in, Cash with a tornado DDT to take Luchasaurus out, Jack with right hands, he goes up top but Wheeler cuts him off, tags in... POWER-PLEX ALMOST DOES IT!

Everest German suplex into a bridge, Perry kicks out, Dragon suplex... MARKO STUNT DIVES TO BREAK THE PIN UP! BLANCHARD HITS THE SLINGSHOT SUPLEX ON STUNT! Thoracic Express hits but they’re confused about who’s legal and it’s only a nearfall! Perry dives and wipes out a crew member! Luchasaurus goes after Dax and the crew guy hits him with a camera!

They lift the dino up, spike piledriver, Tully tags in...

FTR win by pinfall with a lateral press from Tully Blanchard on Luchasaurus.

Post-match, the crew guy unmasks... it’s Shawn Spears! The five of them put their hands in and Arn Anderson appears, scratching his beard. He throws the four fingers up, JJ gives him the thumbs up.

Tony Schiavone appears on stage.

He briefly asks what’s up with Spears before introducing the man he’s interviewing... PAUL WIGHT!

He’s wearing a “No More BS” shirt and says he’s incredibly happy to be here at AEW, return to TNT after years away, and announce Elevation with Tony. He’s got the biggest scoop ever for us, and that’s that this Sunday AEW is going to put a Hall of Fame-worthy talent under contract that will a huge surprise and a huge asset. It’s not who we think, but he wants us to know he knew it first.

We get a recap of the women’s eliminator.

Nyla Rose vs. Ryo Mizunami (AEW Women’s World Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Finals)

Collar and elbow, struggling against each other, clubbing blows, whip across, Rose with a shoulder block and a little dance! Mizunami backs her into the corner, chops on chops, a lariat for a nearfall! Charging in, Nyla drops her with a boot, cannonball senton, only two! Big powerslam, cover... NOPE! Rose choking her over the ropes sends us to break.

Back from commercial, Rose in control, giant step and she slingshots up top for a diving senton atomico... NOBODY’S HOME! Mizunami collecting herself, slapping her face to get psyched up and she low-bridges Nyla! Off the ropes, shoulder thrust puts her on the floor and Ryo’s fired up! Headed to the floor, back heel trip on the apron... GUILLOTINE LEG DROP OFF THE TOP!

Ryo ready to take the countout, Rose beats the count and she lands another diving leg drop... STILL NO! Trading lariats in the middle of the ring, Mizunami blocks one with another and hammers Rose with more lariats, off the ropes... NYLA CATCHES HER! DEATH VALLEY DRIVER CAN’T KEEP HER DOWN! Hanging Ryo over the ropes, diving knee drop across the back of her neck into the cover... NOT ENOUGH!

Mizunami with an exploder suplex, she goes up top, Nyla recovers and cuts her off! Climbing to join her, jockeying for position... SUPERPLEX! Ryo hits a German suplex, she’s fired up, charges in, spear! Dragging her into position, headed up top...

Ryo Mizunami wins by pinfall with a diving leg drop to become #1 contender to the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Post-match, Hikaru Shida enters the ring to present Ryo with her trophy and offer a handshake... AND MIZUNAMI PULLS HER IN FOR A FOREARM! SHE WANTS A BRAWL AND SHIDA OBLIGES! Ryo gets knocked down and Hikaru holds the belt up to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Tony Schiavone introduces Sting for an interview.

He says two weeks ago he thought he was ready and found out the hard way he wasn’t ready when Brian Cage powerbombed him. But he thanks him for shaking off all the excess rust and he feels like he’s ready for a street fight!

Enter Ricky Starks.

He tells Sting to pump the brakes and not to worry because he’s here on his own accord. Every week they’ve been going back and forth and he’s man enough to admit that he saw fire he hadn’t seen in a while from Sting last week. He’s also man enough to admit that Sting’s still got it, but he stands behind what he said and Sting is no icon. He slaps Sting, Sting drops him with a punch to the gut and knocks him out of his shoes!

Off the ropes, big lariat, Sting follows it up with the Stinger Splash! Double leg, step through... SCORPION DEATHLOCK! Starks taps and Powerhouse Will Hobbs and Hook come in! Hook tries to choke Sting out, he blocks, Brian Cage and Taz come down, Cage wants another powerbomb but Darby Allin makes the save! Sleeper hold, the Machine shakes him off but Sting hits another Stinger Splash!

Darby off the top, missile dropkick, and Team Taz scatters as we go to break.

Back from commercial, Max Caster does his usual freestyling during his entrance and -1 has to be held back from fighting him.

Max Caster vs. Preston “10” Vance (Face of the Revolution Ladder Match Qualifying Match)

Shoulder block early, Caster with a cocky one-foot pin, off the ropes, caught, 10 drops him with a right and gets two. Off the ropes, crossbody, another two count, action to the floor, Caster beats Vance down and we go to break.

Whip reversed, Vance with a big spinebuster, slingshot spear... NOPE! Caster lays him out, off the top with an elbow drop but nobody’s home! Jack Evans runs in with Max’s boom box, cheap shot...

Max Caster wins by pinfall with a lateral press to qualify for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match.

Post-match, Matt Hardy gives Evans a check for $4200.

Commentary hypes up the Buy-In and we get a promo from Miro.

He calls Chuck Taylor out and says he’s got no other option but to give the people what they want... destruction. Come Sunday, he’s gonna stop playing games.

“Hangman” Adam Page & John Silver vs. Marq Quen & Matt Hardy

Quen and Silver to start, John goes in with a flapjack, side headlock attempt but Marq gets the ropes. Into the corner, clean break, Hardy with a cheap shot to the kidneys and Quen capitalizes! Arm wringer, tag to Matt, working the Meat Man over and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Silver with a military press, Quen slips out and puts him on the apron to choke him over the ropes. Referee Rick Knox calls for the break and Hardy hits a Side Effect on the apron for a cheap shot! Tag made, Matt hops down, smashing John’s face into the apron and covering him for one. Right hands, quick tags, Silver catches Hardy out of midair with a kick!

The path is clear, crawling, desperate for the tag, reaching, Matt picks a leg but the Raw Dog hits a standing shiranui to cut him off! Page tags in, coming in hot with lariats on a now-legal Quen, off the ropes, duck one but he hits a huge thrust spinebuster! Hardy bails as Hangman charges, back to Quen, whip blocked with a shin kick, but he ducks the pump kick and Marq takes his mentor out!

Fallaway slam into a kip-up, plancha into mounted punches on Hardy! Back inside, Marq putting boots to Page, he counters with a Death Valley Driver! Drawing Quen up, he throws him into the corner because he wants Big Money! Matt leaves the apron, rolling Marq back in! Adam coops him up, Quen floats over, dropkick to the knee, tag to Hardy!

Hangman’s neckbreaker, he calls for it, kick to the midsection, Twist of Fate countered into a back suplex! Low bridge to Quen, Silver makes the tag, spear into mounted punches! Twist of Fate blocked, backslide into short superkicks, sheerdrop brainbuster... MATT HARDY KICKS OUT! Marq snaps the Raw Dog’s head over the apron, back suplex from Hardy and he tags Quen in.

Marq off the top, missile dropkick! Kick cuts him off, tag to Page, rolling elbow, enzuigiri, pop-up powerbomb, Silver with a German suplex... BUCKSHOT! Hangman shoots a deliberate look at Hardy before covering...

“Hangman” Adam Page & John Silver win by pinfall with Buckshot from Page on Marq Quen.

Post-match, Hardy attacks and beats Page down with a microphone, telling him this was a setup to beat him down so he can end his undefeated streak on Sunday. Dark Order make the save and put boots to Hardy! The heels in the tag battle royal come down to brawl, the babyfaces right after, and they fill the ring with meat!

DEATH TRIANGLE COME OUT LAST! WE’RE OUT OF TIME!

That’s the show, folks.
