Bad news, mother****ers. The breakout star of the AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator Tournament is headed back to Japan. Maki Itoh says she doesn’t know when she’ll be back in the States, either.
I'm going back to Japan!

I can only speak Makiglish but everyone was kind and I was very happy
Do you want to see me again?
I'm sorry, the next schedule has not been decided. But I hope we can meet again!
Thank you fuck you all #AEW pic.twitter.com/MEYXBoEBvr
While not quite as popular with the simps, Leyla Hirsch has been a steady and reliable hand for AEW since last fall. The pint-sized powerhouse has appeared on Dark and Dynamite, getting an NWA Women’s title shot against Serena Deeb and filling in for Nyla Rose on short notice. The company’s rewarded her service with a contract, and the tweet that comes along with it...
Congratulations and welcome aboard officially to @LegitLeyla Hirsch, I’m thrilled to have you signed to @AEW! Thank you very much to Leyla and to all of you great fans who support @AEWonTNT for making this possible! pic.twitter.com/fUHa4fbY9Y

Hirch won’t be able to replace Itoh as John Silver’s foil in Dark Order skits on Being The Elite...
...but maybe she can start singing herself to the ring? Eh, pretty sure Itoh will find her way back eventually. And it’s probably best for the Legit One to just let Maki be Maki, and focus on picking up more wins now that she’s officially All Elite.
Let us know what you think of these moves, Cagesiders.
