AEW released their latest rankings (Feb. 24, 2021). Let’s check out the movers and shakers.

Fenix hopped over Cody Rhodes to land at #3. That is an interesting call since Fenix did not have any extra singles victories. The luchador did help earn a win in trios action with Jon Moxley and Lance Archer as partners against Eddie Kingston, Butcher, and Blade.
Fenix’s high ranking will be put to a big test tonight on Dynamite as he competes against Archer. The winner will earn a spot in the Face of the Revolution ladder match at the Revolution PPV on March 7.
Women:

Nyla Rose cracked the top 5 at #3 by defeating the previously third-ranked Tay Conti in the women’s title eliminator tournament. Dynamite will feature a major clash tonight with The Native Beast battling #2 Dr. Britt Baker DMD to advance in the tournament.
Serena Deeb dropped a spot after losing to Riho. It’s odd that Riho wasn’t able to squeeze in after an impressive victory upon her return to AEW. It could be argued that she needs to have more than one win, however, I’d say the recency of her success and past championship accolades should earn her a spot at least over Deeb. Having Deeb on top this week diminishes the value of head-to-head competition.
Tag Team:

SCU! Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian are climbing up the charts with wins on Dark. This will likely be their last run together. In an arrangement regarding Daniels’ future, their next loss will be their last as a tag team. Then, Kaz and Daniels will go their separate ways.
Top Flight also broke into the rankings at #5. Santana & Ortiz were given the boot from #4 after losing a tag title match against the Young Bucks. The Acclaimed were dumped out from #5.
Do you agree with AEW’s rankings this week? If not, what would you change?
