Watch the Feb. 22 edition of AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator Tournament

New, comments

AEW is streaming four matches from their Women’s Championship Eliminator Tournament tonight (Mon., Feb. 22, 2021), in the YouTube video embedded above. The show starts at 7 pm ET.

Two of these follow from last Monday’s YouTube show, and are semifinal matches from the Japan side of the bracket. They were taped at Emi Sakura’s Ice Ribbon promotion and overseen by AEW Women’s champion Hikaru Shida. The winners will face off on Bleacher Report this Sunday (Feb. 28), with the winner of that match advancing to battle the winner of the United States side of the bracket on the Mar. 3 Dynamite with a shot at Shida and her belt at the Revolution PPV on Sun., Mar. 7 on the line.

This steam will also feature the final two U.S. bracket first round matches. These took place in Jacksonville’s Daily’s Place. Tonight’s winners square-off on Dynamite this Wednesday (Feb. 24); the winner of that bout gets the winner of Sunday’s Thunder Rosa vs. Riho semifinal next Monday.

Confused? It’s a lot to process. The full remaining schedule is laid out here.

Here’s what happened in the above stream tonight:

  • Nyla Rose def. Tay Conti to advance to the quarterfinal of the U.S. bracket
  • Britt Baker def. Anna Jay Madi Wrenkowski to advance to the quarterfinal of the U.S. bracket
  • Ryo Mizunami def. Aja Kong to advance to the Japan Bracket final
  • Yuka Sakazaki def. Emi Sakura to advance to the Japan Bracket final
