MJF joined Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle in November 2020, leading to constant tension within the group. Sammy Guevara butted heads with MJF the most. In early December, Guevara said he would walk away from the Inner Circle the next time MJF caused an incident.
Here we are two months later, and Guevara finally reached that breaking point. He called MJF out backstage for his clear attempts to take over the Inner Circle, and it led to MJF recording Guevara’s words on his phone. It looked like an attempt to turn Jericho against Sammy by using Sammy’s recorded words out of context. Sammy broke MJF’s phone and punched him in the gut.
After this interaction between @SammyGuevara & @The_MJF, where does the rest of the #InnerCircle stand now? Only time will tell.

Later in the show, Guevara told Jericho and the rest of the group that he’s a man of his word, and that he’s quitting the Inner Circle:
.@SammyGuevara has had enough! HE HAS QUIT THE INNER CIRCLE!

Guevara walked out of the building and said he needs a break from this place.
It looks like things are working out exactly as MJF planned.
