Once the hours seen inside shift away in the hourglass as the sands of time. The weeks, the hours, the minutes, the seconds are quickly ticking by, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with Excalibur greeting us and wishing Jim Ross well during his medical leave of absence.

“Hangman” Adam Page joins commentary for our opening match.

Alan “5” Angels vs. “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson

Collar and elbow, Danielson with a full nelson, shift to a leg pick, half-crab applied and he sits down as Angels gets the ropes! He has until five, referee, Alan with some chops in the corner, mounted punches, backflip breakaway and another huge chop! Bryan with uppercuts, dropping knees across his face, chest kicks in the corner!

Corner dropkicks, going for a big bolo punch but Angels reverses to a backslide! Alan laying strikes in, Bryan reverses... DANIELSON SPECIAL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING BUT ANGELS GETS THE ROPES! Alan with some dives, back in, he catches Bryan, running Spanish Fly... NOPE!

Angels goes up top, nobody home on the moonsault! Danielson charges in with the Busaiku knee but he’s not done yet! Wrists clutched, stomping 5’s head in! But he’s still not done, leg pick, flexing one arm and he falls back into the heel hook!

“American Dragon” Bryan Danielson wins by submission with a heel hook.

Dragon hangs onto the submission after the bell!

Tony Schiavone interviews Danielson in the ring.

Bryan says it’s hard to tell, because if that’s the best Atlanta’s got, he whooped his ass, kicked his head in, and snapped his MCL to boot. Last week he knocked Colt Cabana’s teeth out, this week he destroy Alan’s knee, and next week he’s heard that there’s a Dark Order member from Long Island, and he’s going to stomp his head in, too.

And then in two weeks, in Dallas, Texas, he takes the AEW World Championship from Hangman Page. That’s where he shows the world it’s not cowboy shit, it’s coward shit.

Page gets up to go confront Danielson but John Silver runs out to remind him that he can’t touch Bryan tonight... BUT HE CAN, AND THAT’S WHAT HE’S GONNA DO! But as the Meat Man hits the ring, Dragon runs away and calls Silver a joke that’s beneath him.

Bryan gets in Page’s face and says he’d love to kick his ass tonight but these fans don’t deserve it.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Miro is in a white featureless void, cutting a promo thanking his god for revealing to him what a dick he really is.

The line has been drawn, and the Redeemer will storm the gates of heaven and make the floor run red.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman makes his entrance wearing a lovely Hanukkah suit to join commentary.

CM Punk vs. Lee Moriarty

Moriarty with a wristlock in the feeling out, reversed, reversed to a hammerlock, headscissors, side headlock from Punk. Lee slips out, kneeling armbar, into a snapmare, crucifix pin, only two! Arm drag into an armbar, shot off, shoulder block, arm drag, back into an armbar!

CM with shoulder thrusts in the corner, whip across, charging in, up and over, Punk takes him off his feet with a leg lariat! Springboard lariat connects and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Moriarty with an inverted stomp armbreaker, following it up with a lariat and a big boot, corner uppercut, whip reversed, legsweep, arm kick, huge belly-to-belly suplex... NOPE! Punk floats over a slam, to the corner, springboard crossbody but Lee rolls through into a cover!

Border City Stretch applied after CM kicked out, trying to block Punk from the ropes with his own foot but referee Rick Knox calls the break! CM turns him around, sets him up top, big slap across the chops! Avalanche Frankensteiner... AGAIN LEE ROLLS HIM THROUGH, SUNSET FLIP FOR TWO!

Trading pinning predicaments, no deal, to their feet... CM PUNK LAYS HIM OUT WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK! Hooked for the Pepsi Twist, Punk blows a kiss but Lee reverses to his own Pepsi Twist! Big knee, DDT lifted into a neckbreaker... SO CLOSE! CM floats over, suplex lift into a fireman’s carry...

CM Punk wins by pinfall with the Go to Sleep.

Post-match, Maxwell Jacob Friedman gets on the mic.

He says Punk was disappointed in him, but he’s proud of CM, because it takes balls to call yourself the Best in the World when you’re struggling to beat guys like QT Marshall and Lee Moriarty, and the only thing he’s the best at is trying to get in Britt Baker’s pants.

MJF says he’s not CM Punk, he’s One Punk Jump. (I don’t get it? Perhaps I misheard.)

Punk calls for a mic and says Friedman has a lot of guts talking about pants when he’s clearly wearing Larry David’s pajamas. He can talk all he wants about Punk struggling against QT and Lee, but the fact is they’re both better than Max and he knows it.

Friedman sputters, Punk tells him to shut up and bring his little needle-dick into the ring right now and he’ll kick his ass all the way back to Long Island.

MJF polls the crowd before telling them it’s too bad and Punk needs him more than Friedman needs him, a spark to a flame he hasn’t had since 2011. But don’t you worry, he’s gonna show what a real professional looks like when he wins the Dynamite Diamond Ring in New York and finally be amongst fans he loves and appreciates and the feeling is mutual.

He’s gonna be better than Piper in Portland, better than Bret in Canada, and better than CM Punk in Chicago. He tells Punk to stop bringing his dog to the shows anymore, because if he does, he’ll put Larry to sleep.

This gets Punk to give chase, but Wardlow comes out and gets between MJF and CM.

Dr. Britt Baker, DMD is interviewed backstage with her posse.

Baker complains about Riho earning a title shot on Rampage, and she and Jamie Hayter bicker about wins and losses, but Britt says Team DMD are back on track and Jamie’s gonna wrestle Riho in an absolute slaughterfest next week before she gets her title match.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Adam Cole makes his entrance and joins the commentary desk.

Orange Cassidy makes his entrance and Cole gets up to confront him, and the Young Bucks sneak out the tunnel behind him!

Orange with the slow kicks to the Bucks... AND COLE POPS HIM IN THE GENTLEMAN’S AREA WITH AN UPPERCUT! Slow-motion superkick party... AND THEN AT FULL SPEED! They’re gonna take Orange out but Chuck Taylor and Wheeler YUTA make the save!

Tony Nese cuts a promo talking about his title match against Sammy Guevara and how he’s gonna win and such.

AC Adams vs. Wardlow

Wardlow destroys the kid with powerbombs and it’s squash city, pussycats.

Wardlow wins by pinfall with a powerbomb.

Post-match, Shawn Spears hits the ring and beats Adams with a chair before raising Mr. Mayhem’s hand!

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, PAC and Penta el Zero M are interviewed backstage.

Penta answers vigorously in Spanish, and Alex Abrahantes translates for him, saying they’re looking forward to kicking FTR’s ass with PAC. PAC, blindfolded, says his eye is going to be no issue.

Darby Allin & Sting vs. Gunn Club (Billy & Colten Gunn)

Allin and Colten to start, little bit of mat grappling, shoot off the headlock, shoulder block! Tag to Billy and Sting comes in as well! Right hands, Manhattan Drop and a lariat! Gunn runs away, tag to Colten, babyfaces cutting him off, quick tag, Darby caught on a Coffin Drop and reversed to a slam!

Working Darby over, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Colten puts a Scorpion Deathlock on Allin! Darby gets to the ropes, Gunn puts boots to him, but Allin gets away and makes the tag! Sting in hot with lariats, Stinger Splashes, a spinebuster, leg pick, turning him over, Austin Gunn gets a cheap shot in while referee Aubrey Edwards is occupied with Billy!

Darby dives on him, Billy hits the Fameasser on the Icon, cover... NOPE! Match breaks down, Diamond Dust connects, setting Sting up...

Darby Allin & Sting win by pinfall with a Scorpion Death Drop from Sting on Colten Gunn.

Chris Jericho is interviewed backstage.

He says he didn’t come to Eddie Kingston’s aid, he was out there to take 2.0 out and nothing more.

Of course, 2.0 and their son Daniel Garcia attack Jericho and beat him down! Matt Lee brains Y2J with a chair!

And we go to break.

Back from commercial, Lio Rush comes out to confront Team Taz, who are hanging out at the commentary desk.

Lio talks about the ups and downs of his career and says it’s crazy that Taz thinks his guys have a 100% chance of winning this match, and he’s a fighter. You better believe him when he says that he’s not going down without a fight, even if he’s only got a 1% chance.

Taz taunts him and tells him to retire, Dante Martin squares up and Ricky Starks comes running down the entry to back his man up.

“Smart” Mark Sterling is backstage with Jade Cargill and he congratulates Thunder Rosa on winning her tournament match but says she has no chance against Jade.

On Friday, Thunder’s student Janai Kai will challenge Jade Cargill, and Rosa rolls up to say that she’s gonna do commentary for that match on Rampage.

Kris Statlander vs. Ruby Soho (AEW TBS Championship Tournament Quarterfinals)

Soho with a hammerlock, Statlander reverses via a headlock takeover, shot off, tilt-a-whirl reversed, backslide attempt, stalemate! Go-behind, Kris back to a side headlock, off the ropes, crucifix into a sunset flip, Ruby has the kick scouted and gets booped!

Monkey flip reversed, Statlander on her feet, off the ropes, la casadora arm drag, sidestep, springboard arm drag, reverse STO connects and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Soho with the STO out of the corner, off the top with the senton... NOPE! La casadora reversed, revolution Liger Bomb... SO CLOSE! Spider Crab applied, Ruby reverses to a triangle but Kris deadlifts her up into a buckle bomb! Crossleg Michinoku Driver... RUBY SOHO KICKS OUT!

Charging strikes in the corner, cut off with elbows, headbutt, superkick into the corner and Soho unloads with forearms! Charge in, duck under, headscissors into the turnbuckles blocked! Electric chair... POISON FRANKENSTEINER CONNECTS! HEADSCISSORS DRIVER CAN’T KEEP KRIS STATLANDER DOWN!

Drawing her up, No Future blocked, Stat rolls her through, Big Bang Theory reversed...

Ruby Soho wins by pinfall with a victory roll pin.

Post-match, Ruby raises Kris’ hand.

Vickie Guerrero gets into it with Statlander and Nyla Rose ambushes Soho in the ring, laying her out! Kris returns to make the save and Rose runs off!

Commentary hypes up our announced matches on the next couple shows to send us to break.

Andrade el Idolo vs. Cody Rhodes (Atlanta Street Fight)

El Idolo attacks Rhodes during his entrance, Arn Anderson gets into it with Jose while they spike each other with audience members’ drinks! Fighting out into the crowd, Cody with a moonsault off one of the internal barricades! Punches to the forehead, brawling around ringside, and back into the ring.

Snap scoop powerslam, Andrade fires off a low blow and whips him with the weight belt before throwing it into the crowd! El Idolo goes to his back and pulls out a laptop and cracks it over Rhodes’ head! Andrade goes out and grabs a table from under the ring before thinking better of it and returning to the ring.

He takes a chain from Cody but he dodges it and the chain gets hung up in the ropes! A firm knee, fireman’s carry front slam, laying a chair across Rhodes, up top... SPLIT-LEGGED MOONSAULT! Back suplex, Cody lands on his feet and knees him right in the gentleman’s area!

El Idolo knocks Rhodes to the floor and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Andrade with a moonsault but Cody counters! Boot up in the corner, scoop and a slam, Rhodes off the ropes for a dive but el Idolo blasts him with a steel chair to cut him off! Cody busted open, he goes and gets a kendo stick and discards it before grabbing a sledgehammer and discarding that in turn, and he decides he likes the third thing he comes up with, the golden shovel!

Jose comes back with a taser and Cody clocks him with the shovel! El Idolo with a step-up plancha to equalize things! Trapping Rhodes in the corner with a chair, right hands to the open wound... CORNER KNEES WITH THE CHAIR! This time Andrade gets the table out and slides it into the ring!

Leaning the table in the corner, Cody with a dropdown slap, but a hip toss puts him into the announce desk! Another table set up, Andrade up top, jockeying for position, he knocks Rhodes down but ends up crotched! Brandi Rhodes slides in the ring and drenches the table in lighter fluid...

Cody Rhodes wins by pinfall with a superplex through a flaming table.

That’s the show, folks.
