AEW RAMPAGE RESULTS FOR NOV. 19
- Rampage opens with Darby Allin coming to the ring (with Sting) for his match against Billy Gunn.
- The commentators note that Billy Gunn is a much larger man than Darby Allin. The fans chant “Mr. Ass”. Gunn overpowers Allin from the get-go, throwing him around with ease. The one-sided action spills to the outside, where Sting stops Billy in his tracks with a menacing glare. Gunn goes back to tossing Darby like a rag-doll. Billy sidesteps Darby’s suicide dive, resulting in a nasty crash and burn for the young star. Back from commercial, Darby takes out both of Billy’s sons with a Coffin Drop to the outside. Darby eventually hits it on Billy too, but he kicks out at one. So Darby goes for another Coffin Drop and that’s enough for the three count. Darby Allin defeats Billy Gunn.
- Billy’s sons attack Darby after the match is over. Sting beats their asses for the save, but Billy clips him from behind. The Gunn Club stands tall over Darby and Sting.
- In a backstage interview with Tony Schiavone, QT Marshall challenges CM Punk to a match in his hometown of Chicago next week on Dynamite. He plans to put Punk to sleep.
- The Minneapolis Street Fight from Full Gear is recapped with new thoughts from Chris Jericho. Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky respond, saying this isn’t the last you’ve seen of American Top Team. Jericho says the Inner Circle will be waiting.
- Next up is Red Velvet vs. Jade Cargill in the TBS Championship Tournament.
- Velvet goes right after Cargill, backing her up into the corner with a flurry of strikes. Cargill catches a cross-body from Velvet and tosses her backwards with a standing variation of a fall-away slam. Red comes back with a leg lariat, knocking Jade to the outside. Velvet goes for a dive but gets caught up in the ropes. Cargill takes over with hard punches and slams Red onto the ring apron. Back from commercial, Cargill gains the advantage and showboats by doing push-ups in the ring. Velvet comes back with double knees to the spine. Cargill leapfrogs over a running Velvet and smashes her in the face with a boot. Jade goes for her finisher, but Velvet counters off the ropes and pushes her backwards to the mat for a damn close near fall.Red goes for her Final Slice finisher, but Cargill avoids it. She immediately grabs Velvet and hits her with the Jaded finisher for the pin. Jade Cargill defeats Red Velvet and advances in the TBS Championship Tournament.
- Thunder Rosa cuts a promo on Jamie Hayter ahead of their TBS Championship Tournament match next week on Dynamite.
- Backstage with Tony Schiavone, CM Punk accept QT’s challenge for next week’s Dynamite. He says to bring all his minions like Solow and Ogogo, it doesn’t matter, Marshall is going to be the turkey.
- Eddie Kingston will take on Daniel Garcia on Black Friday Rampage next week.
- Winter is Coming is set for Dec. 15.
- Mark Henry does his typical interview before the main event match. Adam Cole & Bobby Fish will take on Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus. Fish appears to now be going with the nickname of “Infamous.”
- Halfway through the match, Fish is dominating Boy. The crowd rallies for Jungle to make the tag to the dinosaur on the ring apron. Luchasaurus comes in and takes out both Fish and Cole with running elbows and clotheslines. Jungle Boy is back in there taking it to Cole. Fish distracts him, allowing Cole to come from behind with kicks. Jungle and Cole are trading high impact kicks in the middle of the ring. Cole wins that battle, but he gets caught in the middle of Panama Sunrise into a Luchasaurus powerbomb.Fish and Boy are the legal men, with Fish working his thigh over. Fish charges forward but gets overhead tossed into the buckles. The Young Bucks come out, but Christian runs out behind them to chase them away with a chair. Fish gets caught in the Snare Trap and taps out. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus defeat Adam Cole & Bobby Fish. The babyfaces celebrate to end the show.
