AEW Rewind: Dark Order beef squashed, Lana plots on Sammy Guevara, more!

Don’t have time to follow all of AEW’s online content? Don’t worry. We got you covered with the AEW Rewind, which will rewind through social media bits and YouTube videos from the past week to prepare you for Wednesday night Dynamite.

“Road to AEW Dynamite: Anniversary,” hyped Sammy Guevara versus Bobby Fish for the TNT title and Hikaru Shida versus Serena Deeb in Shida’s quest for 50 wins in AEW.

The video provided a nice introduction for Fish. He plans to be his authentic self and take Sammy’s new prize. Fish has won titles all over the world, so he believes the pressure is all on Guevara.

The Dark Order agreed to be unified once again. Evil Uno realized the error of his ways. He admitted that he was not the group’s leader.

Lana ran into Sammy Guevara at a meet and great. She was not pleased that he won the TNT title from Miro and plotted to steal it back.

After Jack Evans shaved his head in a hair versus hair defeat to Orange Cassidy on Rampage, he may be adopting the skullet style.

Checking in with story beats on Elevation and Dark, the Gunn Club elaborated on feelings of being ignored. The Gunn sons pulled their weight during the pandemic shows, and nobody ever thanked them.

Joey Janela tried to ambush Sonny Kiss with a chair, but the Concrete Rose anticipated the dirty tactic.

Diamante won clean via sliced bread over new rival Santana Garrett. Serpentico pinned Marko Stunt with physical interference from Luther. Luchasaurus was not there, so a tag team match against Chaos Project would make sense.

Lee Johnson was the guest for the latest A Shot of Brandi (here). Lee and Brandi prepared a souffle. They spoke about Cody forgetting Lee was in the Nightmare Family.

Being the Elite

“Righteous Rochester” - Being The Elite, Ep. 276 (here) featured:

• The Elite returned from another shopping spree. Travel footage from the Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler then more video of the sneaker purchases. Returning to the car, they found the back window smashed.
• 2point0 are being ghosted about BTE Championship rankings. They decided to take matters into their own hands with a #1 contender tournament.
• Alex Reynolds and John Silver continued their search for new friends. They approached Adam Cole but requested he shave his head. That idea did not go over well.
• Footage from the Elite on Dynamite celebrating Adam Cole’s win followed by the Bryan Danielson promo.
• The Elite showed off fake tattoos. Luke Gallows rubbed in white cream. Karl Anderson became sour.
• Ryan Nemeth wined and dined in Hollywood at the Heel film premiere.
• Rampage highlights of Nick Jackson versus Danielson.
• Dark Order busted chops with each other now that they were back on good terms. Group hug. Stu Grayson felt something was missing. Anna Jay ran in to shove Stu. Good times once again.
