Commentary runs tonight’s card down and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Jon Moxley cuts a promo about how the fact is there’s no man in AEW that can beat him.

He’s been in ladder matches and where better to be stupid with ladders than Philadelphia?

CM Punk makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He asks who’s tired of the lovefest before saying he isn’t and he’s gonna keep it going, before talking about his sweet sneakers. He talks about how he lived in Philadelphia for a few years in the early 2000s and wrestled or ran a wrestling school every day of the week. He loved Philly so much because it gave him so much (hey me too!) and the money he made wrestling around the world he bought himself an iPod and a computer and he was rich.

And not just money, he was spiritually rich because of the wrestling community and he’s glad he’s back in that community. He talks about cheesesteaks, saying he’ll either wrestle tonight or buy everyone in the crowd cheesesteaks before deciding he’s gonna wrestle.

Commentary informs us that Tony Khan has made Punk vs. Daniel Garcia official for Rampage on Friday!

We get footage of Arn Anderson’s take on the Malakai Black vs. Cody Rhodes feud, of him starting a fire outside of Cody’s house, burning a suit. He makes Rhodes take his tie off, telling him to paint a scar on his face to make it cool. Cody tries to stop him from burning the tie and Arn slaps him, making him burn his own tie!

And on that note, we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a Bobby Fish hype reel.

Sammy Guevara gets an inset promo where he gives Fuego del Sol a new truck and says he’s gonna beat Bobby Fish tonight.

Bob with deadly elbows, snapmare, cover for two! Trading kicks, Sammy with a snapmare this time, kick to the back, but Fish stands up and they trade forearms and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Fish is in control, slingshot senton atomico but Guevara gets the knees up! Bobby recovers, Saito suplex gets two! Big boot, Sammy reverses... SHORT-ARM SPANISH FLY! Guevara up top, again Fish kicks him down! Back up top, jockeying for position... BOBBY WITH AN AVALANCHE FALCON ARROW! Fish with an exploder into the turnbuckles... SO CLOSE!

American Top Team run off, Dan Lambert calls for Judas to get cut but the crowd keeps singing it. Lambert says Tony Khan has all the stroke in the world, and they’ll be in American Top Team’s home town of Miami, and he wants a six-man tag, Inner Circle vs. Men of the Year and Junior Dos Santos, and Jorge Masvidal will be in American Top Team’s corner!

Jericho’s mic goes out and he gets another to accept the challenge!

The Acclaimed cut a promo that’s mostly Max Caster rapping about how they want a tag title shot.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Tony Schiavone is in the ring for our promised big announcement.

Schiavone talks about the move to TBS and Aubrey Edwards introduces the new midcard women’s championship, the AEW TBS Championship, and it’ll be contested for the first time in a tournament on Dynamite on TBS on January 5.

Jim Ross interviews Darby Allin in a sit-down.

Allin talks about why he paints his face, connecting it to his dead uncle and his chest tattoo, and he says that MJF isn’t going to win this war, because he’s seen men like him a thousand times.

Darby Allin vs. Nick Comoroto

Allin dives on Comoroto and Aaron Solo before the bell and posts Nick! Referee Bryce Remsburg calls for the bell!

Whip blocked, reversed, springboard backsplash, running knees, forearms, go-behind into a standing Diamond Dust but Comoroto reverses to a powerslam as we go to break.

Back from commercial, Allin off the top...

Darby Allin wins by pinfall with the Coffin Drop.

Post-match, QT Marshall hits a Diamond Cutter on Sting but the Icon pops right up and kicks him in the gentleman’s area before hitting the Scorpion Death Drop!

The Dark Order are backstage and they agree to settle their differences with voting on the suggestion of John Silver.

He wants Alan Angels to remask because he looks too much like he and Stu Grayson, they bicker, and Anna Jay settles things.

Tony Schiavone interviews Dante Martin in the middle of the ring.

He says he’s been proving that he’s a problem to everyone in that locker room and held his own against the likes of Kenny Omega. He’s here to fight anyone they bring to him, and the lights go out.

They come back up and Malakai Black is in the ring! He spits the black mist and lays Martin out with Black Mass! The lights go out again!

They come back up, Dante is gone, and Black gets on the mic. He says the House of Black accepts and we see Martin on the floor, suffering.

He leaves and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Ricky Starks is in the ring.

He raises the FTW Championship and says it was the same title that was born in South Philadelphia and held by Taz in the name of the FTW mindset, and he has the same damn mindset. But he can’t say the same of the former champion, Brian Cage, and that’s why he came out here. He wanted to make history and do good by these people, but in typical Brian fashion, he didn’t show up tonight.

He wanted to wrestle, and he was even gonna take it a step further and challenge him to a Philly Street Fight, but y’know...

Enter Brian Cage!

Cage with corner lariats until Hook and “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs pull their boy out of the ring!

We get a hype reel of various women talking about the newly-announced AEW TBS Championship.

Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb

Feeling out, waistlock, Deeb reverses, wristlock, stalemate! Jockeying for position in the turnbuckle, they end up on the apron and Hikaru cracks her with a running knee! Shida sets a chair up, Serena puts it away, duck a lariat, front chancery in the ropes and Deeb hits a neckbreaker to send us to break!

Back from commercial, Shida with forearms and a front chancery swing! Missile dropkick connects, cover for two! Deeb gets an octopus hold, traps the arms, Hikaru blocks and nails her with a forearm! Enzuigiri follows, Gedo Clutch... NOPE! Running knee, but Shida sends her packing after and hits a plancha! Back in, Serena with a dragon screw in the ropes, fisherman neckbreaker follows!

Elbow drops to the knee, Shida reverses the momentum but her leg gives out on the Canadian backbreaker! A second try, dropped into a piledriver... NOT ENOUGH! Sliding elbow, Falcon Arrow... STILL NO! Hikaru with a series of knees, Deeb blocks, elbows to the knees get clubbing blows, dragon screw lays Shida out! Deeb traps the arms again... SHE CANNOT KEEP HIKARU SHIDA DOWN!

Stepover armlock, posting the knee into the mat, the Serenity Lock is on... IT’S OVER!

Serena Deeb wins by submission with the Serenity Lock.

Post-match, Serena gets the trophy they made for Shida and cracks her over the head with it!

Darby Allin is interviewed in the loading dock and masked men attack him and beat him down! They lay him out, F-5 into a barricade, and commentary begins speculating that it’s the Pinnacle attacking him, choking him with his own skateboard!

Commentary hypes up the matches set for Rampage this week.

Lio Rush gets a promo where he calls Dante Martin out and says he’s a huge fan. He sees an undervalued commodity, a sleeping giant, and here’s his proposal— if he accepts Malakai Black’s challenge, maybe he needs some help, so he’s gonna have his people call his people and they’ll talk soon.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Dr. Britt Baker, DMD is interviewed backstage by Tony Schiavone.

She says the TBS Championship is fantastic because now all those jealous bitches in the back can fight amongst themselves instead of obssessing over her and her title.

Andrade el Idolo vs. Jon Moxley vs. Lance Archer vs. “Big Money” Matt Hardy vs. Orange Cassidy vs. PAC vs. ??? (AEW World Championship #1 Contender’s Casino Ladder Match)

PAC and Cassidy to start, collar and elbow into a waistlock takedown and the Bastard rides him. Orange slips out, shoves him and gets laid out with a forearm! Off the ropes, drop down, drop down, Cassidy lays in the middle of the ring and relaxes, looking for a tornado DDT, reversed into a brainbuster...

Andrade el Idolo is out third.

PAC goes and sets up a ladder, Andrade springboards onto it and they brawl! El Idolo on top... SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB! Setting the ladder over PAC’s fallen body, he charges but Orange gets in the ring and puts his hands in his pockets for the lackadaisical kicks! Andrade with a big overhand chop, Orange off the ropes with a tijeras and a dropkick puts the Bastard into the ladder!

“Big Money” Matt Hardy is out fourth.

He counters an Orange Punch into a Side Effect and then runs roughshod with the ladder, laying everybody out! Hardy climbs, Cassidy picks a leg and pulls him down, back elbow and Matt smashes him into the ladder as we go to break!

Back from commercial we find that Lance Archer has entered the match and cleaned house and is looking to set a ladder up.

Hangman climbs up with PAC and brawls with him, thinking avalanche... AVALANCHE DEADEYE THROUGH A TABLE MY GOD! Mox slides in the ring and snaps off a DDT on Page! He pulls the ladder to the middle of the ring and starts climbing, met by Cassidy, trading punches and Matt Hardy tips the ladder over! Big Money brawls Orange to the floor, laying him on a table and climbing a ladder... LEG DROP OFF THE LADDER AND THROUGH THE TABLE!

Jon climbing the ladder, but Page returns and lays him out with Buckshot! Climbing the ladder, Moxley returns and cracks a chair across his spine! Climbing the ladder together, Jon reaching, punching at Adam, Hangman climbs up after him and lays into him! Mox falls off the ladder! Page’s path is clear and he climbs...

“Hangman” Adam Page wins, retrieving the giant poker chip to become #1 contender to the AEW World Championship.

Page cracks a beer atop the ladder to celebrate.

That’s the show, folks.
