Tonight’s (Oct. 29) episode of AEW Rampage included a segment where Tony Schiavone interviewed CM Punk backstage.
There’s no way Punk will miss the upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view (PPV) on Nov. 13, but AEW television has yet to provide a clear direction for him on that card. That is, until tonight.
An angry Eddie Kingston, fresh off his loss against Bryan Danielson in the World Title Eliminator Tournament, interrupted Punk’s interview. Not surprisingly, it didn’t end well:

This is far from a guarantee that a match between Punk and Kingston will be held off until Full Gear, but Punk hasn’t really crossed paths with anyone else who would make for a viable PPV opponent. Tony Khan’s scribbled notes on the preliminary Full Gear card appeared to have Wardlow written down as CM’s opponent, but there has been zero interaction between Punk and Wardlow up to this point.
Would you rather see Punk face Kingston or Wardlow at Full Gear?
