After Friday’s Rampage, there’s only two more weeks of shows for AEW before Full Gear. That’s why they got so busy making matches for their next PPV on the Oct. 27 Dynamite.
The groundwork was already laid for everything we got tonight. Another showdown between American Top Team and Inner Circle’s been looming, but Sammy Guevara had to defend his TNT title against Ethan Page first, because had Page won, Sammy would have had to leave Chris Jericho’s group.
He didn’t, and when Scorpio Sky tried to join his Men of the Year partner to beat down Guevara, the Inner Circle came to the rescue. Le Champion got on the mic for a masturbation joke, some light pandering to the Boston crowd, and to tell us Tony Khan booked a Minneapolis Street Fight between the two squads for next month’s event.

Later in the show, AEW Tag champs Lucha Bros issued a challenge to the men who took their AAA Tag belts, FTR. It didn’t take Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler to accept Penta El Zero M & Rey Fenix’s offer.
