Stay Puft S***

The main event of the Oct. 27 edition of AEW Dynamite was a Halloween-themed affair between The Elite and Dark Order. That meant costumes. Evil Uno’s side was mostly dressed as cowboys, but Stu Grayson gave us our second Kratos in as many nights, and Colt Cabana showed up as Brandon Cutler.

The Young Bucks, Adam Cole & Kenny Omega were the Ghostbusters.

It also meant shenanigans, including some proton pack assisted offense from the heels.

Mostly, this was building to the reveal of Omega’s challenger for the World title at Full Gear. You probably figured he would be in the horse costume his friends the Dark Order came out in. But when Alex Reynolds and Alan Angels chased said horse to the ring after a ref bump, you could tell something was up. The Elite didn’t catch on, though. They beat up the horse before unmasking it discover it was a kidnapped Cutler. Which meant the person in the Staypuft Marshmallow Man suit they thought was Brandon was really...

Hangman delivered a Dead-Eye to the champ that helped Dark Order pick up a big win, which is important as we get closer to their match on Nov. 13 in Minneapolis. Just as important was this sign that not only does Page have confidence heading into Full Gear, he has his friends, and he’s not afraid to have some fun with them.

Especially when it involves kicking The Elite’s ass.
