AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR OCT. 27

Never trust a man who... no we will end it at that. Fight fair and die! There’s more to life than anyone allows you and yesterday does not know who we are. When it’s all been broken, and it’s all been broken, I’m not allowing anyone who’s not allowing everyone this far, but I am liveblogging this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with the intro video and commentary welcoming us to the show and hyping up the card.

Bobby Fish vs. CM Punk

Fish takes a breather on the apron to flex for the crowd almost immediately, back inside, dodging a probing leg kick from Punk, firing one of his own back, CM with a headlock takeover! Shot off, shoulder block, cover for one! Fish with cravate knees, turned around in the corner for knees from Punk!

Snapmare, elbow drop, reverse chinlock applied, Bobby shoots him off, shoulder block, drop down, leapfrog, scoop and a slam from CM Punk! Another scoop and a slam, cover for one, corner knee, Fish reverses the short-arm, fireman’s carry, reversed, Bobby gets the ropes to block the Go to Sleep!

Out for the slingshot senton, only two, Fish with cravate knees, snap suplex, only a nearfall! Clothesline sends Bobby to the floor, Punk off the ropes with the tope suicida! Back inside, CM up top, Fish rolls out to the floor and he hops down. Legsweep on the apron, Bob taking a breather while referee Paul Turner checks on Punk and his freshly injured knee.

Back inside, Fish clobbers him with an elbow for two! Back suplex, swinging Punk’s leg into the mat, stepover toehold, dropping the knee and locking the hold on to try and grind him down. Another inverted dragon screw, CM rolls to the floor, Bob throws him into the barricade and punches away!

Leg kicks to the bad leg, Fish breaks the count, back inside, lighting Punk up with kicks in the corner! Putting him up top, staggering him, Bobby throwing big clubbing right hands before climbing to join him. Jockeying for position, Punk knocks Fish down... ONE-LEGGED ELBOW DROP!

Trading forearms on their knees, rising to their feet, CM staggering him, still shaky on the knee and Fish kicks his leg out of his leg! Black Magic roundhouse kick, Punk gets up, swinging neckbreaker, corner knee into the short-arm lariat, starting to roll but he can’t keep Bobby Fish down for three!

Up for the Go to Sleep... FISH COUNTERS WITH A DRAGON SCREW! Off the ropes, sliding lariat, CM with a double leg into a jackknife pin, Bob bridges out of it, Punk counters the counter... GO TO SLEEP! SLOW TO COVER... IT’S OVER!

CM Punk wins by pinfall with the Go to Sleep.

Malakai Black cuts a promo.

He says he made Cody Rhodes’ whole family lose faith in him, he split the Nightmare Family, and he made the whole crowd hate him. If you thought this was about pinfalls, think again— the House always wins.

Commentary promises us Maxwell Jacob Friedman in action, after the break.

Bryce Donovan vs. Maxwell Jacob Friedman

This doesn’t even get going...

Maxwell Jacob Friedman wins by pinfall with the Heatseeker.

Post-match, Friedman gets on the mic and runs the town down and says pinning shoulders on mats and banging rats is what he does best, but he’s gonna have to skip the rats tonight because he’d rather shove his junk in a blender rather than go anywhere near your disgusting, fat women.

He does an impression of everyone’s mother and calls the local accent disgusting. Speaking of disgusting, Darby Allin made a mistake interrupting him when he was telling everyone he deserves to be the AEW World Champion and now he’s too scared to show up for work?

He says he’d be scared too, given that he knocked Sting out with his beautiful Dyanmite Diamond Ring. He doesn’t care who leaves with the title after Full Gear, because you’re looking at the past, the present, and the future.

Sting’s music plays briefly and MJF falls over himself laughing at the crowd for falling for his trick. He’s about to carry on with his promo when the lights go out.

They come up with a weird remix of Max’s music playing and a video package of Darby beating up a dude dressed as MJF at a show.

Back in the arena, Sting is in the ring and lights Shawn Spears and Wardlow up with his baseball bat, Friedman runs away but Darby Allin is in the crowd wearing a trench coat! Max runs away and Darby gets a skateboard crusted in tacks out from under the ring to make his point... WARDLOW TAKES THE TACKS!

Allin gets on the mic and challenges MJF to a match at Full Gear!

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Dr. Britt Baker, DMD is interviewed by Tony Schiavone.

Tony informs her she’ll be in a Trick or Treat match against Abadon on Rampage this week because she walked out on a match against her on the Jericho Cruise. It’ll be no disqualification, and if Abadon wins, she gets a title shot.

“All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Sammy Guevara (AEW TNT Championship)

Guevara with knees before the bell, off the ropes, corkscrew top con giro! Throwing Page around on the floor, finally back inside, referee Bryce Remsburg checks on Ethan and he’s ready to go so we get a bell!

Trading forearms, All Ego declares himself the man, whip reversed, leapfrog, backflip, dropkick from the champ into a kip-up! Snap suplex, a nearfall, Tony Nese is watching from the crowd as they trade right hands! Back suplex dropped into a kick to the back, a crescent kick follows, Sammy up top but Page crotches him!

Big backbreaker into the turnbuckles and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Guevara with forearms, lariats, back elbow, enzuigiri connects, springboard neckbreaker! Boot up, standing Spanish Fly... NOPE! Sammy perches up top... SHOOTING STAR PRESS TO THE FLOOR! Back inside, blocking the Feast Your Eyes, Sammy up top, cross-arm Iconoclasm into a tilt-a-whirl slam!

Guevara charging in, All Ego with a body slam off the top, a huge shoulder block... NOT ENOUGH! Up in the turnbuckles, thinking avalanche Ego’s Edge... SAMMY REVERSES TO A FRANKENSTEINER! SHOOTING STAR PRESS MISSES, JACKKNIFE PIN... IT’S OVER!

Sammy Guevara wins by pinfall with a jackknife pin to retain the AEW TNT Championship.

Post-match, Page attacks and Scorpio Sky joins in the fun! The Inner Circle makes the save!

The Men of the Year get away scot-free and the Inner Circle hang out with their pal.

Chris Jericho gets on the mic and calls Scorpio Sky out and says he respects him for beating him twice, but since Sammy won, it’ll be a ten-man match between Page and Sky and American Top Team and the Inner Circle! And Tony Khan made the match a Minneapolis Street Fight!

And at Full Gear, they’re gonna kick their effin’ asses!

Tony Schiavone interviews Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston backstage.

Kingston takes offense to Danielson saying that he doesn’t work hard, and talks about how his depression turns to anger and he’s living his dream, so he’s done listening. Bryan says that’s the Eddie Kingston he wants to see, and there’s so many people in the locker room that go through the same crap, and he’s gonna go ahead and prove that he’s the best.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Lucha Brothers are interviewed backstage.

They agree to put the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line against FTR at Full Gear!

Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb (AEW TBS Championship First Round Match)

Mat grappling to start, Shida overpowers her with kicks in the corner, Deeb slips out and tries to post her but Hikaru manages to kick her away! Shida deadlift superplexes her back inside, cover for two and we go to break.

Back from commercial, trading forearms for uppercuts in the middle of the ring, whip reversed, Shida with a corner knee and a running uppercut! Missile dropkick, delayed vertical suplex... NOPE! Up for the powerbomb, no dice, Serena with right hands, jockeying for position boot up to block a lariat!

Axe kick into a German suplex, Dominator... NOPE! The running knee to the back of the head can’t keep her down! Action to the floor, Hikaru sets up the chair but Deeb kicks it aside! Step-up off the steps for a dropkick! Smashing Shida’s knee into the apron... FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK OFF THE RINGPOST!

Spinning toehold reversed into an inside cradle, no dice, roundhouse kick, big knee, another knee, Serena rolls through into a half-crab! Shift to an inverted figure four leglock, Shida reaching... AND SHE GETS THE ROPES! Deeb grabs Hikaru’s trophy, Shida blocks it and takes it away, Deeb with an eyepoke, small package... SHIDA WILL NOT STAY DOWN!

Trap the arms, back body drop counters, trading pins...

Hikaru Shida wins by pinfall with a rana pin.

Post-match, Deeb grabs a chair and wails on Shida with it! Hammering her knee, trying to injure her out of the tournament, Serenity Lock applied and referees swarm the ring to try and break it up! Road Agent Jerry Lynn comes down to join the chorus and she finally relents!

Dante Martin and Lio Rush are interviewed backstage.

Lio says that on Friday, Matt Sydal will learn a lesson, and we go to break.

Jon Moxley vs. Preston “10” Vance (AEW World Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament First Round Match)

Moxley with a German suplex into stomps in the corner out the gates, Vance blocks a followup German, back body drop to the apron, Jon decks him with an elbow and takes him around the ring to smash him into the steel steps! Tearing at his mask, biting at 10’s forehead and smashing him face-first into the post!

Mox back inside to break the count, Preston busted open and just pouring blood from his forehead! Back inside, a lariat, mounted punches, underhooks...

Jon Moxley wins by pinfall with Paradigm Shift.

FTR are interviewed backstage.

They talk about waiting a year to get their tag titles back, but they’re coming for them, and they’re going to go down as the best tag team of all time.

Cody Rhodes makes his entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Cody Rhodes gets on the mic with Arn Anderson standing close nearby.

He says believe it or not, he hears us, online and otherwise, and for a brief moment, when he had Malakai Black’s arms hooked for the Tiger Driver ‘98, he thought about hitting a very different move, and what would have happened if he hit that move?

Would he have sneered and broken the covenant to not challenge for the world title? If you’re going to boo the narrative, boo the true narrative, and don’t forget the man that built this company, and he takes his shoes off and throws them into the crowd and asks people to put their feet in his shoes.

He talks about his family and says the easy way out is not the way, and he will not turn. He apologizes to everyone, and he says it’s an honor to stand in the ring with Arn, and he shakes his hand.

Andrade el Idolo makes his entrance.

He tells Cody that the people don’t like either of them, and the difference is that he doesn’t care about the people. He calls Cody’s neck tattoo stupid and says he’s getting into his business, and he can make him his little bitch.

The lights go down, and when they come back up, Malakai Black is in the ring! He spits the mist at Rhodes and the heels beat the babyfaces down! PAC MAKES THE SAVE AND LAYS ANDRADE OUT WITH A KICK COMBO! The heels retreat and PAC drops down crosslegged in the ring and flips the bird at the heels!

Commentary hypes up the next week of shows for us to send us to break.

Dark Order (Colt Cabana, Evil Uno, John Silver, & Stu Grayson) vs. the Elite (Adam Cole, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, & Nick Jackson)

Silver and Cole to start, John shoves him aside a few times and flexes! Adam puts boots to him in the corner, Silver explodes back at him with kicks and an antler-assisted headbutt! Whip across, back body drop, tag to Uno, Cole gets away and tags Omega in!

Right hands for right hands, knocking Evil to the floor where Michael Nakazawa splashes him! Back inside, one-foot pin comes up empty, Kenny tags Matt in! Right hands, Uno rides Jackson like a pony and we get some quick tags as the match breaks down!

Stereo slams and posing, and we go to break with the Dark Order in control!

Back from commercial, the Elite are charging away on Grayson but he gets away and lands a few kicks before dropping Omega with a Frankensteiner! Stereo Pele kick, Cabana tags in, slingshot, punches, Flip, Flop, & Fly! He makes the Bucks DDT one another, Superman pin... NOPE!

Nick takes Cabana out with a superkick, Silver comes in on him, back body drop to the apron, back elbow staggers him but he cuts Jackson off with a gamengiri and runs roughshod on the floor! Back in, German suplex and the Meat Man is running hot! Bucks with a superkick party, Matt tags in and the Elite run wild on Silver!

Triple superkick brainbuster over the knee... GRAYSON BREAKS IT UP! The match breaks down again, Uno with a neckbreaker on Nick! V-Trigger on Cabana! Referee Rick Knox gets laid out, Stu gets under Matt, blocked, low blow! Low blows on all the Dark Order boys!

The Elite get their proton packs on and surround the Dark Order and backsplash them! Piling the proton packs on the mat, lifting legal man Cabana up... POWERBOMB INTO THE PROTON PACKS! The front half of the pantomime horse arrives, four-man BTE Trigger but they take the head off the horse and it’s Brandon Cutler!

The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man that accompanied the Elite to the ring takes his mask off and it’s Hangman Page! He hits Deadeye on Kenny Omega! Silver hits a spin-out powerbomb...

Dark Order win by pinfall with a spine-out powerbomb from John Silver on Matt Jackson.

Hangman Page and the Dark Order celebrate their win.

That’s the show, folks.
