Jade Cargill is in line for a title shot

It’s easy to see why AEW’s invested in Jade Cargill as a future star. The former collegiate basketball player with a Master’s degree is both intimidating and sexy. She’s charismatically arrogant with kayfabe promos, and charmingly impressive in press interviews.

The question has been when/if the training she’s done with folks like AR Fox, Mark Henry, Heath Miller (fka Slater), and QT Marshall would help her hone her talents to the point she could carry the division.

She might not be quite there yet? But in picking up a pin on Thunder Rosa on the Oct. 1 Rampage, AEW has positioned her for a major test of her readiness. Rosa was #1 in the company’s last rankings, and seeing as Cargill was #2... That Bitch (her words, not mine) should be in the conversation for a match against Women’s World champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Will Tony Khan book that match, or knock Jade down the standings so she can get some more experience before she steps into AEW’s brightest spotlight? While you’re pondering that, here are the highlights from Rampage:
