We’ve covered the trash talk from the 10:15 - 10:30pm front in the Friday night ratings battle between Rampage & SmackDown. But in addition to the tie between Ruby Soho vs. The Bunny and Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar’s Crown Jewel contract signing, there was another skirmish during the 10:00 - 10:15 segment, too.
Based on Wrestlenomics’ quarterly breakdowns, AEW won that one even more handily in the 18 - 49 year old demographic, with 363K watching CM Punk vs. Matt Sydal, and 277K watching Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch (as was the case all night, WWE won the overall audience, 882K to 663K).
And while no one on Vince McMahon’s roster talked as much smack as Reigns, Sasha did fire a shot across the bow of CM Punk. On Friday afternoon, The Boss tweeted her match graphic along with the catchphrase Punk borrowed from the ever-lovin’ blue-eyed Thing. He didn’t take the bait last week, but with the Nielson dust settled, he got in the last word today...

Maybe The Boss can reply with another Ben Grimm line...
