Love it, hate it, or just don’t care about it... the AEW/WWE banter probably isn’t going anywhere.
The weekend saw a couple threads of smack talk continue. Coming off his first pro wrestling match on Friday (Oct. 15)’s Rampage, former UFC Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos jumped on social media to respond to WWE Universal champ Roman Reigns’ dismissal of the AEW roster...
Hey @WWERomanReigns I heard your interview. Please send the address of this club you will throw me and my little brothers out of #AEW pic.twitter.com/6QIO5337AI

Pretty good stuff, although JDS is kind of making Roman’s point when he refers to his fellow AEW stars as “little”.
Saturday also saw the continuation of a beef that started when AJ “Top Dolla” Francis of Hit Row subtweeted The Young Bucks for posing as sneaker heads. When Francis released a rhyme targeting Matt & Nick Jackson without naming them, a lot of fans expected AEW’s resident battle rapper to respond. After a Twitter exchange the day before, Max Caster of The Acclaimed did just that after Dynamite aired from Miami.
Yooooo!!!!

This is what a wrestling war looks like in 2021.
