AEW RAMPAGE RESULTS FOR OCT. 1
- Rampage opens with Bryan Danielson vs. Nick Jackson. Chris Jericho is not on commentary because he’s still recovering from injuries he sustained on Dynamite “Grand Slam.” Taz and Excalibur are the only commentators for tonight.
- Bryan is torturing Jackson’s body by bending his limbs in unnatural ways. The tide turns when the referee is distracted and Matt Jackson spears Danielson outside the ring. Bryan absorbs a bunch of chest kicks, spits in Nick’s face, and comes back with his own set of kicks. Jackson delivers a German suplex to Danielson on the ring apron. After a Jackson miscue that takes out Brandon Cutler, Bryan comes back with his own German suplex on the outside. He takes out Matt and puts Nick away via tap out with Cattle Mutilation. Bryan Danielson defeats Nick Jackson.
- Afterwards, a brawl breaks out in the ring between The Elite, Jurassic Express, Christian, and Danielson. Jungle boy gets Adam Cole in the snare trap while Bryan gets Kenny in the LeBell Lock. The heels tap out at the same time.
- Powerhouse Hobbs and Hook throw to a video package where Ricky Starks talks trash about Brian Cage. Starks joins the commentary team.
- CM Punk with a taped promo where he talks about wanting to fight the best people in AEW. Whoever steps up is going to sleep.
- Jade Cargill defeats Thunder Rosa and Nyla Rose in a three way no disqualification match. The finish came after Thunder Rosa powerbombed Nyla Rose through a table on the outside of the ring. While Thunder was trying to drag Nyla back into the ring, Cargill blasted her from behind with repeated chair strikes. Cargill then pinned Rosa to remain undefeated in AEW.
- Malakai Black with a pre-taped promo where he says he hopes the black mist seeps into every nook and cranny of Cody’s body. Cody Rhodes doesn’t have what it takes to beat him. He’s getting tired of the Nightmare Family, and there are plenty of other tolls to be collected in AEW.
- Next week’s casino Ladder match will include Jon Moxley, Andrade El Idolo, PAC, Lance Archer, two entrants still to be named, and the joker.
- Mark Henry interviews Orange Cassidy and Jack Evans before the main event. Orange Cassidy didn’t know his hair is on the line tonight.
- Orange Cassidy defeats Jack Evans in a Hair vs. Hair match. Matt Hardy’s Family Office tried to interfere but they were thwarted by the Dark Order and the Best Friends. Cassidy took advantage of the chaos to win with the Orange Punch. The babyfaces shaved Jack’s head afterwards. Matt Hardy opted to pull his troops back rather than try to save Evans. The good guys celebrate in the ring with Brodie Lee Jr. as the show nears its end.
- Orange Cassidy and Matt Hardy are announced for the Casino Ladder match. They will join Jon Moxley, PAC, Andrade, Archer, and the joker.
- That’s the end of the show! Thanks for hanging out, Cagesiders.
