AEW is presenting night two of New Year’s Smash on tonight’s (Jan. 13) episode of Dynamite.
One of the segments advertised included Cody Rhodes visiting Britt Baker’s Waiting Room for an interview.
Baker loves to hear herself talk, so Rhodes couldn’t get a word in. Britt then pulled a swerve on Cody and invited his wife’s nemesis, Jade Cargill, into the Waiting Room. Cargill name-dropped Shaquille O’Neal again before slapping Cody in the face. And there were more face-slaps to come:

With Brandi Rhodes not wrestling right now due to pregnancy, it looks like Red Velvet has emerged as Jade Cargill’s first major feud. I don’t think it’s going to end well for Velvet. Meanwhile, Britt Baker was completely irate after being booked in a match against Thunder Roda at Beach Break on Feb. 3.
