Some members of Stardom’s roster have wrestled in the United States on New Japan Pro-Wrestling shows here, but Bushiroad’s joshi (women’s wrestling) promotion hasn’t been in the U.S. since 2019.
But for the first time in five years, Stardom is coming to America. And they’re coming to wrestling’s biggest weekend, booking the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia for a show on Thurs., April 4... days before WWE sets up shop in Lincoln Financial Field for WrestleMania 40.
Way too early for the card, but the announcement video features many of Stardom’s current stars, including rumored WWE target Giulia (who also disbanded her Donna Del Mondo faction at Jan. 4’s Ittenyon Stardom Gate show) and IWGP Women’s champion Mayu Iwatani (who successfully defended her title against Syuri in today’s main event).
Stardom American Dream will start at 3pm.
