WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The Wrestling Observer notes that those close to Charlotte Flair believe she’ll return from her knee injury sooner than the nine months she’s projected to be out.
  • For what it’s worth, LA Knight told Chris Van Vliet on Insight that he took a pay cut to sign with WWE when he did because he was willing to bet on himself to turn it into something more.
  • BWE claims there have been “discussions over repackaging plans” for Omos.
  • There’s speculation that Kayden Carter & Katana Chance could be known as the “Twinkle Twins” going forward after Chelsea Green and Michael Cole used that name for them on Raw this week.
  • Fenix told Denise Salcedo recently that he thinks he’ll be back in the ring “soon” from the injury he’s been rehabbing. The Observer said his issue was a “bad back, a bad hip, or both.”
  • Fightful Select says Kosha Irby is joining AEW, potentially as Chief Operating Officer. He was formerly the Regional Director of Live Events for WWE.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. And check our weekly Rumor Look Back here to keep track of how often rumors turn out to be correct.
