The Nightly: September 27th, 2023

Hello Nightly!!!

So today was alright, mainly passed Spider Man Miles Morales and worked. It was cool playing Miles Morales again. It’s a flawed, but satisfying follow up to Spider Man. The gameplay is fluid as always, and visually it’s stunning, especially on the PS5. But story wise it suffers a bit. And the story isn’t even bad, it’s actually good, but it does feel rushed. Like I think Miles finds out who the Tinkerer and the Prowler’s secret identities too quickly for it to have an emotional impact. When Otto became Doc Ock in the first one, it had plenty of time to establish he and Peter’s relationship, Otto’s downward spiral, and as a result, makes the story and his turn stronger. But because Miles Morales is such a short game, the story feels rush. Not bad at all, just rushed. But I do t think that’ll be the case with Spider-Man 2. Man, I am ready for that game to be released.

On to the Nightly.
