Hello Nightly!!!

Tonight we take a look at Aladdin. It tells the story of a street thief named Aladdin who ends up obtaining a powerful lamp containing a Genie, who of course is voiced by Robin Williams. He attempts to court Princess Jasmine, but the sinister Jafar has other plans. This movie is very very good. It has a lot of action to it, and the CG combined with hand drawn works really well, like the Cave of Wonders. And of course, Robin Williams as the Genie is easily the highlight of the movie. The Genie is basically a stand up comedian, able to impersonate seemingly everyone and everything from history. Jafar makes for an intimidating villain, and Jasmine is also really good as well. Overall, it is a very fun movie, easily one of Disney’s best, and one of the best of the Disney Renaissance for sure.
