Richard Holliday has returned to MLW.

Holliday made a surprise appearance with major implications at the end of the One-Shot PPV (Dec. 7, 2023). Alex Kane was fresh off submitting Matt Cardona to retain the MLW World Heavyweight Championship when he called for his next challenger to step up. Lights out, then Holliday entered the scene.

Mister Saint Laurent rushed to the ring to broker the match. He also presented a deal for Holiday to join the World Titan Federation. Holliday mulled it over. Once he saw the dollar figure attached to the contract, Holliday did not hesitate to sign.

Kane versus Holliday for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship is official for Kings of Coliseum in Philadelphia on January 6, 2024. Aligning with WTF makes Holliday a clear heel in this matchup.

Holliday previously won the MLW World Tag Team Championship with MJF and also the IWA Caribbean Heavyweight Championship when feuding with Savio Vega. Holliday parted ways with MLW as a free agent in April 2023. He spent the back half of 2022 recovering from a cancer diagnosis of Hodgkin’s lymphoma before returning to the wrestling ring.

Are you excited to see the comeback of Richard Holliday to MLW?

The replay for MLW One-Shot is available for viewing through the Fite+ package on Fite TV.
