Tony Khan introduces yet another championship (ROH Spoilers)

Ring of Honor was back in action one night after Final Battle, taping for upcoming episodes of their weekly streaming show after AEW Collision went off the air Saturday night (Dec. 16) in Texas.

In the midst of the matches being filmed for HonorClub, Tony Kahn came out to introduce a new championship — the ROH Women’s Television title.

No details on how the first Women’s TV champ (and 15th under TK’s “promotional umbrella”, if you count the FTW). But with Billie Starkz now back in ROH Women’s World champion Athena’s good graces, she might be a frontrunner for it.`

Starkz was in Athena’s corner for her match at the taping, full results from which follow:

• The Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross accompanied by Kevin) def. The Workhorsemen (JD Drake & Anthony Henry)

• Athena w/Billie Starkz def. Maya World in a Proving Ground match

• Dante Martin def. Lee Johnson

• The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) def. Willie Mack & Blake Christian

• The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) & Lance Archer def. The Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) & Jacked Jameson

• Taya Valkyrie (accompanied by Johnny TV) def. Vertvixen

• Rachael Ellering (accompanied by Maria Kanellis-Bennett & Leyla Hirsch) def. Charlette Renegade (accompanied by Robyn Renegade)

• Action Andretti & Darius Martin def. The Infantry (Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) and The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) in a tag Triple Threat
