Hello Nightly!!!

Tonight we take a look at the January 3rd, 2000 episode of WCW Monday Nitro.

This was the first Nitro of 2000, and of course, 2000 is considered a very low point for WCW. This episode was okay, as Terry Funk is brought on as WCW Commissioner to bring law and order to WCW and to stop NWO 2000. You can kind of tell that this is the beginning of the end for Russo’s first tenure in WCW, as the Powers That Be is all but finished, and apparently NWO 2000 is meant to be their boys, but Bill Busch is now all of a sudden a powerful force now mentioned on TV. The power dynamic and struggle gets very confusing. There were also new WCW Tag Team Champions, as with help from Terry Funk and Arn Anderson, David Flair and Crowbar would become the new tag team champions.
