The Nightly: August 3rd, 2022

Hello Nightly!!!

Tonight, we take a look at the July 26th, 1999 edition of WWF Raw Is War/War Zone.

This was the fallout show for Fully Loaded, and we saw seemingly the last appearance of Vince McMahon, as well as the main event, which saw Jim Ross get punched by Triple H as Triple H and Austin would begin feuding. We also saw Christian seemingly align himself with Gangrel. There was also the Unholy Alliance forming, as Big Show and Undertaker formed a tag team, which seems like such a waste of Undertaker. Them forming a team really makes no sense. But if nothing else, we did get a great angle with Kane, suffering from grief from X-Pac being assaulted by Undertaker and Big Show, and cutting a great brief promo.

Overall, this was a solid Raw as we officially wrap up Fully Loaded and begin building towards Summerslam 1999.

On to the Nightly.
