The Nightly: July 3rd, 2022

Hello Nightly!!!

Tonight, we take a look at the WWF Raw Is War/War Zone episode from April 12th, 1999.

There was a lot happening on this episode. The start of the show featured Shane McMahon slapping his own father and disowning him, essentially taking full control of the Corporation, with Ken Shamrock walking out on the Corporation. Unfortunately for Shamrock, he was targeted by Undertaker and the Ministry all night, and the Ministry even seemed to have their own exodus, as the Brood seemed to turn against the Ministry after refusing to sacrifice Christian. And finally to top it all off, The Rock took a trip to Roody Poo Bridge to settle a score with Stone Cold, as it was the same bridge that Austin threw The Rock’s IC title off of once upon a time. It would end with Rock not only throwing Austin off the bridge, but the Smoking Skull belt as well. Or so it would seem. But more on that on the following Raw. Overall, this was a really good episode of Raw.

On to the Nightly.
