The Nightly: May 5th, 2022

Hello Nightly!!!

Tonight we take a look at the November 9th, 1998 edition of WWF Raw Is War/War Zone. This served as the go home Raw for Survivor Series 1998. Overall, this was actually a bit of a downgrade for a Raw. Just not a lot of good things about this show. It had its moments, like Shamrock vs. Mankind for the Hardcore title, or Stone Cold and Boss Man interacting, but for the most part, it was just kind of forgettable. But they did continue the build to Survivor Series 1998, which is a really important PPV for WWF. There’s so many swerves that happen at this show, and this is more or less the last show before so many things change. Mankind and Rock end up on different paths, the Corporation has yet to form, and Shane is still a face. Overall, an okay but kinda uninteresting Raw.

On to the Nightly.
