The Nightly: November 30th, 2022

Hello Nightly!!!

Tonight, we take a look at the December 4th, 2000 episodes of WWF Raw Is War/War Zone and WCW Monday Nitro.

On Raw, it was the go home show for Armageddon 2000. Vince McMahon attempts to stop the six man Hell In A Cell match with a State Of The WWF Address, but winds up getting a Stunner, Rock Bottom, and Last Ride in succession. Angle, Rikishi, and Triple H all form an alliance and get the jump on Taker, Austin, and Rock at the very end of the show. This whole angle is one of my favorite endings to a Raw, and really helps sell the main event for Armageddon 2000.

And on Nitro, it was an improvement over previous episodes, as Crowbar and Daffney are reunited, and Steiner threatens the entire roster unless Sid gets bailed out of jail after Mike Sanders has him jailed for attacking Oklahoma. Yep, even the awful Oklahoma character couldn’t keep this episode from being bad.

On to the Nightly.
