The Nightly: November 23rd, 2022

Hello Nightly!!!

Tonight, we take a look at the October 30th, 2000 episodes of WWF Raw Is War/War Zone and WCW Monday Nitro.

On Raw, it’s Edge’s birthday as he parties with Kurt Angle, Christian, and an under the weather Stephanie McMahon. Debra becomes Lt. Commissioner, and Austin battles Rikishi in a steel cage in what is basically a blowout squash match. Right To Censor also beat Billy Gunn, as as a result, he is no longer Mr. Ass.

And on Nitro, there’s friction between the Natural Born Thrillers as Stasiak walks out on Palumbo against Kronik, and the main event is a three way dance world title match with Booker, Steiner, and Mike Awesome. There’s also a new WCW CEO, and his name is Ric Flair. Yep, they’re trying out Flair as an authority figure yet again. Better than Mike Sanders as WCW Commissioner, I suppose.

On to the Nightly.
