This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place Aug. 29 - Sept. 4: NWA 73, Raw, Dark: Elevation, Powerrr, Dark, NXT, Dynamite, Fusion, NXT UK, Impact, SmackDown, Rampage, ROH TV, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, Night One of New Japan’s Wrestle Grand Slam, and anything else I’m forgetting.
But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our competition for Performer of the Year.
He did it!
- Delivering the frontrunner for match of the year helped the new & former NXT United Kingdom champions claim the top two spots in our latest Rankings.
- The new main NXT champ impressed as well.
- We’re still hyped from Punk’s return, and the Lucha Bros grabbed two spots as they became the top contenders for the AEW Tag crown.
- SmackDown hit it big like the former Bum Ass, charting him and both their marquee titleholders.
- Winning a shot at the NWA Women’s belt won the Hot Mess a Rankings point.
