This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place Aug. 1 - 7: Raw, Dark: Elevation, Powerrr, Dark, NXT, Dynamite, Fusion, NXT UK, Impact, SmackDown, ROH TV, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, and anything else I’m forgetting.
But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our competition for Performer of the Year.
Yep. That’s do... IT!
- Dynamite’s main event deathmatch gave AEW two of the top three starts.
- WWE women who attacked their tag partners to make it clear they were coming for their belts gave us half the top four.
- The 24/7 champ managed to finish in front of both guys in SummerSlam’s Universal title feud, and last week’s almost superheroic winner.
- A logjam in the last spot featured a butler, a bum ass, a submission machine, and the new IWGP Junior Heavyweight champ.
