This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place Aug. 15 - 21: Raw, Dark: Elevation, Powerrr, Dark, NXT, Dynamite, Fusion, NXT UK, Impact, SmackDown, Rampage, ROH TV, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, SummerSlam, and anything else I’m forgetting.
But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our competition for Performer of the Year.
Even Orange Cassidy is PUMPED...
- New champs top our latest list, an Impact legend reclaiming their top belt, and WWE’s true King claiming his second Intercontinental crown.
- Champions who retained did quite well for themselves, too. Brittsburgh celebrated the AEW Women’s champ, The Belt Collector kept his AAA prize, and the Head of the Table isn’t going anywhere.
- The #1 contender to the SmackDown Women’s title continued to make her presence felt in the Rankings
- Youngsters made a splash for AEW, with a Top Flight prospect stealing the show on Dynamite, and Sammy Guevara’s best friend earning a contract on Rampage.
- A pair of established Bros represented for Raw.
