Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows were having a pretty good Friday night.
On the July 30 episode of NJPW Strong, they defeated the Violence Unlimited duo of Chris Dickinson & Brody King to win the Tag Team Turbulence tournament. Not a bad way to wrap up their return to New Japan after five years away from the company. The Impact Tag champs and AEW regulars then promised to make even more liberal use of The Forbidden Door, vowing to go after the IWGP Heavyweight Tag titles and teasing they would do so in Japan.
But before the night was over, their frequent nemesis Jon Moxley announced his plan to spoil The Good Brothers next New Japan booking - Sat., Aug. 14’s NJPW Resurgence PPV in Las Angeles.

Mox and the “buddy” he’s meeting in LA anyway vs. these “Bullet Club-type guys”? Sounds good to me.
Before we kick off the guessing game about the surprise Moxley has for Gallows & Anderson, it won’t be the Death Rider’s partner from his 2019 run in Japan, Shoto “Shooter” Umino. Umino’s been on excursion working with RevPro in the United Kingdom, and NJPW announced he was pulled from Resurgence due to travel restrictions.
With that out of the way, who do you think Mox is meeting L.A.?
