New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) are back again! Like all of New Japan’s other major events, the show will be broadcast worldwide on New Japan's streaming service, NJPW World.

Today’s action takes place in Tokyo’s legendary Tokyo Dome, kicking off at a brisk 3 am ET / 12 am PT, and features Shingo Takagi defending his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi (filling in for a sick Kota Ibushi, who still hasn’t been cleared from his bout with pneumonia) in the main event, as well as Kazuchika Okada vs. Jeff Cobb in a grudge match.

Plus Los Ingobernables de Japon defend the IWGP Tag Team Championship against Suzuki-gun, El Desperado defends the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against Robbie Eagles, and more!

Chase Owens wins the New Japan Ranbo, last eliminating Toru Yano (c) with the package piledriver to win the KOPW 2021 Provisional Championship. (New Japan Ranbo)

The freshly-cleared Hiromu Takahashi cut a promo at the top of the show challenging whoever leaves the Tokyo Dome as junior champ.

Bullet Club (El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori) (c) over Rocky Romero & Ryusuke Taguchi by pinfall with CR2 from ELP on Taguchi to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.

Robbie Eagles over El Desperado (c) by submission with the Ron Miller Special to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

Kazuchika Okada over Jeff Cobb by pinfall with a schoolboy pin.

Suzuki-gun (Taichi & Zack Sabre, Jr.) over Los Ingobernables de Japon (SANADA & Tetsuya Naito) (c) by pinfall with the European Clutch from ZSJ on Naito to win the IWGP Tag Team Championship.

Shingo Takagi (c) over Hiroshi Tanahashi by pinfall with Last of the Dragon to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

Shingo closed the show with the traditional promo and EVIL and Dick Togo showed up to issue a challenge and lay him out, so there’s your next title match.

Enjoy the show!
