This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place July 18 - 24: WWE’s Money in the Bank PPV, Raw, Dark: Elevation, Powerrr, Dark, NXT, Dynamite, Fusion, NXT UK, Impact, SmackDown, ROH TV, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, and anything else I’m forgetting.
But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our competition for Performer of the Year.
That saying he has tattooed on his chest is cool and all...
... but he’s definitely the exception to the rule.
- Our latest winner Edge-d out (get it!?!?) the man who stretched out the Tribal Chief on the go home edition of SmackDown. Didn’t stop the Head of the Table from grabbing his usual spot in the top ten, though.
- Strong showing for AEW last week. In addition to #1, the upstart fed put both guys from its World title scene and the new FTW champ in the Rankings. Imagine what they can do when they sign those other dudes.
- SmackDown’s Women’s champion, and its new Prince, earned spots in the top ten.
- As did ROH’s new World champ, and NXT’s top titleholder. Will be interesting to see what happens to the Tick Tock Man after his roller coaster week, though.
